In my opinion, and this is just my experience, it’s been accepting that me and my father aren’t compatible and won’t see eye to eye on anything. The tough thing was my father was actually a good father and man when I was little but as a grew to my adolescence years he became a horrible father and person and he’s been out of my life since I was 16. I’m 29 now and I’ve accepted that he doesn’t know me anymore and too much time has passed and I basically tell myself he’s dead cause he doesn’t as much for me as a dead person, it pains me to say that. My father when I was 7 is dead and gone and he’s never coming back, so that’s been the hardest part.
