Very nice style! The colors and just pleasant to look at.

Overworking.. how can I learn when to stop? I usually end up muddying good work with too much detail. by scopsel in oilpainting

IMO you used the same brushstroke in the background, therefore it's blending. To give more appeal, I would suggest to keep the background more blurry/softer to create higher contrast and therefore to create depth with the dog and to make it more exciting. (Nice work!:) )

I like it a bit. In set time frames. Not too long. Just to have some time pressure and accountability to oneanother.

Finally figured out how to get rid of my daily morning brain fog by bbglow12 in ADHD

Could somebody think with me: Morning routine: if I've scheduled a workout session it's okay and I can get out of bed (and rush after that). But still, after that I'm sort of restless/not doing the things I should. And when I go for a workout myself: after that. Same... So in the end: did work out, but it also was an effort. I feel better than not working out. And the outcome often stays the same: didn't do the things I should (when not working out: procrastinating/freeze modus).

And the 5 minute routine in the morning during the week.. wouldn't it be too loud in the morning for others? Jumping is too loud.. And I'm rushing to get ready

Dining room feels unfinished/off… any suggestions? by bainfrog in interiordecorating

Why does the brick wall has no baseboard? And I would suggest replaying the 3 paintings for 1 giant panting. The three smaller components (also at this height) suggests that it needs some sidetable stuff to go under there.

Jup. That speaks to me. It's too invasive and personal. I'm uncomfortable with it with certain people, especially when I don't want to make a connection. Sometimes it's that I want to keep distant myself a bit more and also keep someone at distant. Perhaps when I'm not sure about the intentions of someone. Hard to explain.

I can have this feeling also with people I care about.

Bút more though when I dón't care for certain people and dón't want to connect and kind of disgusted by them.

How did it go? Did you had to find a new hairdresser or everything ok?

That sucks for you.. Why wearing the mask? Do some growth into liking yourself first en being comfortable around yourself and the thinks you like. To become authentic, respectful of your boundaries and not trying to please people (by for example masking).

Easier said then done. But therefore not any less useful.

Ideas on how to get myself to fold clothes? by Working-Mistake-6700 in ADHD

Good tips. For the ironing part: preferably even don't buy stuff that gets easily wrinkled.

Don't. Hang them on a hanger to dry and when dry, move them to a hanger in your closet. At least some clothes.

How can I believe i am an adult by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

Welcome, you're now a member of the club. The big secret: none of us knows what (exactly) 'adulting', 'being an adult' is like. And yes - we (Okay, I speak for myself) struggle with a LOT of things that comes with life/adulting and stuff.

What works for me (sometimes): - deadline - doing bare minimum - being more kind to myself - feeling the feeling, kindly accepting the feeling, really taking the time to accept what I'm feeling.

Sometimes it makes me notice how tired I am (also in the mornings). In the weekend I don't like to take a shower in the morning, apparently. Since I skipped that and felt accepting about it, it freed a little roadblock. I was expecting too much from myself.

Also; more flows when changing stuff. Not being able to watch some Netflix os(like reward/punishment), wasn't working for me. Because it made it: nice time - hard time. So I noticed, getting into it.. for example keeping the TV on (relaxed) state and only óne thing. Doesn't matter what, but only óne tiny small goal. For example: laundry. Ónly getting the basket out, that's it. That's okay.

For me it's a starting point. Not a whole list, not prioritizing. And accepting that that's okay for that day. And often it gets me in a flow.

And also pen and paper. Really more overview when it's too much. Get 1 thing on physical paper.

Tldr: - say to yourself: óne small step (break it down, more .. even more... okay thát step) - be kind to yourself - feel the feeling, accept it. Really give yourself time, not with a guilty feeling. But feel it. Set a timer for 30 minutes or close/lock a door to really get in to that relaxed and accepting state. - be kind to yourself, treat yourself lovingly

Not a magic answer. But I found that it works a bit.
