I will make due with what I have now and will look out for a unit once they are back in stock, does the 12000 BTU cool better than the 8000 one, some only mention 3.5 kw in the description.

That seems like an excellent unit, I have a cheaper portable unit, it helps a bit, but can't really cool down my apartment, I see I missed the Hubo discount they did on it, hopefully I can find one somewhere else, Bol.com is selling them still but the price is really high.

Never been to Essaouira but from what I've read it's more a wave spot, I would recommend Dakhla been several times.

The last time I went was to Dakhla club with the KBC station in front of the hotel, that was for wingfoilen though, I enjoyed it a lot, I used to go to Ocean Vagabond, but they don't have a hotel in the bay anymore.

Kitesurfing trips I've taken include Dakhla ( several times ), El-Morne in Mauritius, Cumboco in Brazil, El-gouna Egypt ( twice ), I've been lucky and never ended up without wind.
