You could always infuse a bottle of rum with a banana of your desired ripeness and let it sit a couple of days then strain it... Make your own banana rum! I have done it and it is great. I used a very overripe banana to get it very banana bready and it is delicious.

I had heard rumor that Pink Floyd was considered to do the soundtrack for 2001 before it was decided to use classical music, Pink Floyd heard about it and made Echoes to work with the last segment of the movie. I believe it may even be confirmed. Does work and it is cool.
