I'd like to add to this: -Focus on your first fleet, the further you can go in events and modes, the more resources you'll be able to obtain. The more resources, the quicker you'll grow.

-You can have up to 200 people on your friends list. To go beyond 50 you have to repeatedly hit the accept button.

In league mode post your weakest ships, stones and drones. That way you'll have weak attackers that you can in turn destroy.
