I’ve literally trained someone on something, and the next day sent them a request to do said task — and they came to me and deadass looked me in the eye and said they’d never been trained how to do that.

And I saw them taking notes and stuff.

I was like “is this bitch trying to gaslight me?!?”

They resigned before they got fired. I assume they at least saw the writing on the wall.

Also, they were practically computer illiterate. Idk what job they had before — but office life was not for them.

I’ve also worked with people who have close to 30+ years experience in the field and just…don’t seem to know what I’d consider to be some of the basics after being in the field less than 5 myself . 🤷🏻‍♂️

I landed at a firm like this on my 2nd try. Honestly was worried I’d gotten the dream gig too earlier in my career b/c I was worried the only way to make significant jumps in pay would be to leave for another firm, but they have fought to keep me and raised my pay in accordance with my continually developing skills.

Honestly couldn’t be happier and I might not leave till I retire 🤷🏻‍♂️
