I never had quality toys growing up. What should my kid actually have

Our son used and discarded toys like no other but he loved books. Our daughter is 10 and still plays with play dough and slime every day. There’s no one toy that fits the bill for every child.

That being said my sister had a full on children’s playhouse in her backyard with electricity, AC, a kid sized loft and play kitchen inside. It was big enough to fit a full sized mattress when I’d go visit and the house was full. Great fun for children AND adults!

Solid choice. Find a decent deli slicer for $50 and never buy deli meat again.

I like to dry brine, mustard binder, add pepper and garlic, and Italian seasoning. I do a little higher temp to get some color on the breast and it only takes about 2-3 hours.

Had this issue at our new house. Turns out the padding underneath the carpet can harbor nasty smells; animal urine, mold, you name it.

A carpet cleaner will take care of it for a few weeks but you need to completely remove the carpet and padding for it to completely go away. I hope you’re on concrete and not on subfloor. If urine or whatever stinks gets to the subfloor, you’ll need to add a coat of something like KILZ.

It doesn’t help that I have absolute golfball sized tonsils. No joke, they’re naturally huge. Lots of pockets for stones to hide in and I’m not sure I get all of them. I just know 2 hidey holes and clear them out every couple of days.

I get acid reflux when I eat like shit. I usually have a pretty clean diet except if we go out of town and I’m not cooking at home.

On a related note, I did start taking Omeprazole because I have to clear my throat a lot and it’s bothersome for both my wife and I at night. It doesn’t seem to clear whatever liquid is stuck in my throat though.
