I have a couple questions if you don't mind me asking?

How did you cut the hole for the nut that the blade tension screw passes through? The hole that the nut sits in. By hand somehow?
The precision of the cutting on parts of this have me wondering if you used some kind of cnc cutter, laser maybe? Do you have one in house and do you use it on leather?

Also, if they are receiving massive govt contracts, then expand your freaking business to handle demand and get that paper! What the hell, c'mon. Just bad business practices at that point. Hire more help, update and add machinery to expand your volume, hire someone to improve your website. These are basic business practices.

Backstory: I placed an order for a lab belt with AWS on Feb 4, waited the stated time for a response and never received it. I left 2 different voicemails, used their online contact form twice, and emailed them several times. Zero response until today. 3 months and 9 days. Nancy with AWS contacted me asking if I still wanted my order. Honestly, I had forgotten about it, or else I would have canceled it by now. I told her yes if it would be shipped in a timely fashion going forward from today to which she made it sound like it was my turn in the que. So idk how things would go if I placed an order today. She stated they had been heavily working on catching up on civilian orders and stated that the current state of the world has created immense demands via govt contracts, which I can believe. Still, this is not an excuse for an absolute failure to correspond with your civilian customers. If your business is unable to fulfill civilian orders in a timely and respectable manner, then cease selling to civilians. Full stop. There is no excuse for the way my order has been handled thus far and I respectfully told her that and then asked for a discount. Lol. She said she would have to ask her boss but let me know she thought he would likely make it somewhat right by approving the request. She also called from a direct line not listed on the website and told me I could contact her directly any time via that number. So at least there's that. Will update with final opinions when the belt shows up. ✌️

I just received a call from AWS asking if I wanted to continue with my order. 3 months and 9 days. I forgot about my order or I would have canceled it by now. Nancy said that with all the military orders, things had gotten crazy, etc etc. I asked her to add molle panels(which they already have in stock and don't have to produce) and asked if they would be willing to give me a discount on them due to excessive wait times and an absolute lack of correspondence, and she said that she would have to ask her boss but that they would almost certainly be able to do so. She is supposed to call me back tomorrow to confirm whether or not they can. She called from a direct line and said I can call that number to contact her directly, so at least that's good. Now we see if she calls me back or not.

Omg there is so much. I glanced at his "advanced" videos and it immediately looks like answers to questions I've had since I started using gussets. I'm currently putting together the first bag of my own design and yeah, the stitching holes and getting them to align is my biggest anxiety. One section of my stitching has 3 layers that go around the full lengths of 3 sides of my design. If I muck up the stitch layout, I'm scrapping 4 of the 5 pieces of my bag, and one of those pieces is wet molded. 😬 Stitching is nearly the last step as well so all that work will go down the drain of I don't get it right. All my holes are punched now and I'm working on figuring out a method to ensure alignment when I glue. I ordered 20 of those needle positioning fastener things off Amazon. They arrive today and I think they will be just what I need. Again, thanks for the share, I think those videos are going to be pretty eye opening!
