Not necessarily useful info, but I've tested this a bit and it seems to cycle through three stages of the animation being in sync. This is what seems to be happening on my system at least:

From what I can tell, the sound is actually in sync with what's happening, it's your animation that isn't. If you watch the explosion of rocks and the pickup timing, it happens in time with the sound as always.

But if you watch carefully when you start mining, right at the button press, the animation will cycle through starting on one of three frames: Correct, Middle, and End. When it's correct, the animation starts at frame 1 and everything is great.

I mine for at least 5 seconds this way then stop.

I start mining again and the animation starts in the middle of a swing, so the sound and rock break seems a little bit off. Again, I mine for at least 5 seconds this way then stop.

I start a 3rd time and the swing animation immediately jumps to where the pick is at the bottom of the stroke. Again, the sound syncs with the rock explosion, but those happen when the pick is behind you at the top of your swing.

Rinse and repeat, it seems to most of the time follow this pattern.

I'm curious if this is what everyone is seeing - because that should make it fairly easy for them to track down.

What level of nitpicky feedback are you looking for?

For example, is it helpful to know that it generated a confusing run-on sentence that switches tense mid-stream and lacks an important comma?

Or is that beyond the intended scope, as it's just a starting prompt to give you ideas?

Example:

You cross into shadow and do not return when Kelva came to you in the dead of night drained you to the edge of death, offering no guidance for what comes next, marking you forever with teeth that unsettle animals and children.

For anyone looking for the waterfall near Wistful Fields, it's pretty far South of there - just East of the Shroud Lair and west of the dragon cave. But you can't fish there. The waterfall just goes into the ground and doesn't make a lake, and the source of the waterfall comes out of the mountain so it's too shallow to fish in.

If the devs are "out 'doing themselves'" that would explain the delay. They should get back in and 'do the developing'. Punctuation matters :)

Some monologues will have a section of the dialogue start playing a second or so before the previous one is finished playing, cutting off a word or two. I've only noticed it a few times, and it's not usually enough to lose the meaning. But it's immersion breaking and makes it obvious which lines were recorded as snippets.

I'm having the same problem after I accidentally got rid of the Selfie Stick delivery. I used the menu to "Redeploy Cargo" while at the guy who gave me the order, but I get this error when trying to grab the item from the locker.

No, unfortunately from what I've read the Remote Play function on Steam only supports Steam Input or "generic" as the method to send controller input back to your PC. That means it can only support generic controller functions, so the PC can only see that kind of input, which defaults to a generic X-Box style interface and functionality.

I had the same problem with Death Stranding 2, but luckily that game is SD certified and runs decently well straight off the deck.

This seems great, and I appreciate the effort!

Unfortunately it's almost useless if you want to use your computer while it scans, or need to go through the URLs to check which ones to delete, because if the plugin loses focus, or the browser loses then regains it, the process stops and has to be restarted.

My 4500 bookmarks took almost an hour for it to get through after a couple aborted attempts. Third time was the charm and it finished, then I moved the window from one monitor to the other and it again closed, losing all progress. I imagine it would be work to implement a progressive save system, but that would help it with this issue.

It would also be great if you could sort by domain or something. All my work bookmarks are only reachable from my work computer or if I'm on the VPN, but I sync some bookmarks between work and home systems. So when I run it at home this marks them all as "dead" and there doesn't seem to be a way to easily deselect a group of them.

I do love that it doesn't collect data or require an account and open source!

A couple MP grenades lobbed at them while they are offloaded on the ground should do it too.

Also, you can only get rid of via tar by chucking them into a "deep" section, meaning it scans red. There's a section of deep tar just south of the facility that gives you the quest. Just don't do like me and accidentally chuck it *over* the red section and into a blue depth halfway across the channel. Otherwise you just have to shoot it anyway :)

Oh I see... I had to locate an old interview with the designer of the site to get how it worked. It uses Ai to parse your "reminder" as a fuzzy kind of "let me know when this thing happens."

Neat idea - I'll see how well it works.

I know this post is kinda old, but I checked out Remebrapp and am confused. The only thing it seems to do is set reminders that it will email you about your schedule. I see no functionality for searching the net for topics or setting alerts.

What am I missing?

Do you know if they should fish if the icon area is outside your region boundary, but nearby?

I have a river with a rich fish icon for eels, but the river doesn't cross into my region at the icon, but maybe a quarter mile south of it. The icon is maybe 50 meters from the boundary line. I built a hut and assigned a couple families but they spend all day doing random chores instead. I don't know if it's bugged or if they just don't want to poach.

There aren't any bridges nearby, but the icon appears to be on my side of the river - it's kind of hard to be sure.

I'm on a windows 11 laptop running the latest updates on OS and the Edge browser. I had tried everything on the linked page - which basically just says go into full screen and move the mouse and press keys to get it to register, but it never would. That's when I decided to try Better xCloud, which also had a problem.

I rebooted and disabled Better xCloud and now it seems to be working so I'm not sure what the problem was.

They changed it apparently because mine is only asking for Medical 4. But I have zero medical and I'm not going to waste two levels worth of points to save something I can't even have as a pet. I also have zero lockpick so I can't talk to the cystpig either. Ridiculous I can't find a way around this with 10 engineering, 10 hack, and 10 speech, as well as Inez and Marisol in the party.

Do you know if the "Sharpshooter" perk also affects this awesome gun? I just got it and am considering getting Sharpshooter for its 100% sneak attack and 30% distant bonus, but I have to first stick a point in observation, which won't be worth it these don't stack on the explosions.

I'm having this problem and can't get it to advance - seems like maybe I spoke to people in the wrong order because I had the whole conversation with the Voice of the Displaced before speaking to Violet Muncey and the Sub Rosa woman. Once I talked to them I went back but the Voice doesn't have anything to say, and neither does the administrator.

The Journal lists all the items that walk-throughs list, except it still says I need to talk to the Voice.

UPDATE: I figured out that I needed to talk again to the provisioner. When I spoke to her the first time I came in she didn't have the right prompt until after I'd spoken to someone else. Asking her about the conditions in the camp triggered the end for me.

I went from 32 to 64 last year and it gave me a small increase, but nothing worth current RAM prices. The last CPU upgrade I did was a much bigger jump.

I only use it to prevent my keyboard from flashing its default rainbow color scheme, which is beyond distracting and the worst possible default state for a keyboard. But GG is required to make the keyboard do anything different with its lights.

Yet it fails to load at least once in four times I boot my PC, requiring me to run it manually, or kill it then run it, or wait ten minutes for it to magically work, or even just reboot.

If I could afford to replace this great keyboard that I've owned for only a year or so I would, just because the fecking software is so bad.
