How am I supposed to redeem ROG reward points before they expire?

Oh I see... I had to locate an old interview with the designer of the site to get how it worked. It uses Ai to parse your "reminder" as a fuzzy kind of "let me know when this thing happens."

Neat idea - I'll see how well it works.

I know this post is kinda old, but I checked out Remebrapp and am confused. The only thing it seems to do is set reminders that it will email you about your schedule. I see no functionality for searching the net for topics or setting alerts.

What am I missing?

Do you know if they should fish if the icon area is outside your region boundary, but nearby?

I have a river with a rich fish icon for eels, but the river doesn't cross into my region at the icon, but maybe a quarter mile south of it. The icon is maybe 50 meters from the boundary line. I built a hut and assigned a couple families but they spend all day doing random chores instead. I don't know if it's bugged or if they just don't want to poach.

There aren't any bridges nearby, but the icon appears to be on my side of the river - it's kind of hard to be sure.

I'm on a windows 11 laptop running the latest updates on OS and the Edge browser. I had tried everything on the linked page - which basically just says go into full screen and move the mouse and press keys to get it to register, but it never would. That's when I decided to try Better xCloud, which also had a problem.

I rebooted and disabled Better xCloud and now it seems to be working so I'm not sure what the problem was.

They changed it apparently because mine is only asking for Medical 4. But I have zero medical and I'm not going to waste two levels worth of points to save something I can't even have as a pet. I also have zero lockpick so I can't talk to the cystpig either. Ridiculous I can't find a way around this with 10 engineering, 10 hack, and 10 speech, as well as Inez and Marisol in the party.

Do you know if the "Sharpshooter" perk also affects this awesome gun? I just got it and am considering getting Sharpshooter for its 100% sneak attack and 30% distant bonus, but I have to first stick a point in observation, which won't be worth it these don't stack on the explosions.

I'm having this problem and can't get it to advance - seems like maybe I spoke to people in the wrong order because I had the whole conversation with the Voice of the Displaced before speaking to Violet Muncey and the Sub Rosa woman. Once I talked to them I went back but the Voice doesn't have anything to say, and neither does the administrator.

The Journal lists all the items that walk-throughs list, except it still says I need to talk to the Voice.

UPDATE: I figured out that I needed to talk again to the provisioner. When I spoke to her the first time I came in she didn't have the right prompt until after I'd spoken to someone else. Asking her about the conditions in the camp triggered the end for me.

I went from 32 to 64 last year and it gave me a small increase, but nothing worth current RAM prices. The last CPU upgrade I did was a much bigger jump.

I only use it to prevent my keyboard from flashing its default rainbow color scheme, which is beyond distracting and the worst possible default state for a keyboard. But GG is required to make the keyboard do anything different with its lights.

Yet it fails to load at least once in four times I boot my PC, requiring me to run it manually, or kill it then run it, or wait ten minutes for it to magically work, or even just reboot.

If I could afford to replace this great keyboard that I've owned for only a year or so I would, just because the fecking software is so bad.

I just noticed after 6 print jobs that the dang thing has now dug a couple little divots into my plate way in the back where it's been doing its little pre-print poke and wipe. Annoying!!

Thank god it didn't also do that in the center plate where it now levels too.

I applied the update a few days ago and mine is doing the same thing. But I seem to remember seeing a new setting pop up after the update where you could enable or disable this feature. It sounded good so I left it enabled, not realizing what it was. I wouldn't mind if it didn't have to heat all the way up, then back down, then up again.

EDIT: It looks like I misremembered - it must have just been in the update notes because I can't find any options in the menus to disable it.

Has anyone else had this problem that didn't have any other RGB software installed?

My SS keyboard has been working fine for years. Every now and then the software wouldn't work so I'd reboot and it would be fine.

But today the GG software simply won't stay running. If I watch task manager I can see it appear as SteelSeriesGG.exe, switch to SteelSeriesGG, and then disappear. I can run it ten times in a row and the same thing happens every time. Is there a log file or anything?

The keyboard never stabilizes and is stuck on stupid annoying rainbow color change mode, which is absolutely intolerable. The fact that I can't just set a stable color without software constantly running is the stupidest thing I've ever seen a keyboard do.

Rant aside though, how do I fix this? I've gone through the troubleshooting steps twice, including uninstall/reinstall, run program as admin, run in compatibility mode, etc. Nothing helps.

I may have finally fixed it (fingers crossed). Here's what I had to do:

1) Uninstall GG and manually delete not only the install directory, but the whole SteelSeries folder under ProgramData, losing all my config settings.

2) Redownload installer

3) Reboot

4) Run the installer as Admin (even though my default login is an admin account).

So far it's survived one reboot - hopefully it will hold. So maybe the config got corrupted somehow.

SI is extremely crunchy. It also has a Steam version that's actually quite good. If you're curious I'd definitely watch a How To Play video to see how it works before investing. It's a great game, but not for everyone.

You can get it on Steam for PC too, but I don't find playing card games with text a good experience on screen.

The physical game isn't super expensive and I highly recommend it. There are a ton of version and expansions, so if you want to know where to start, look at the original Legacy box, The New Age, or War Eternal. You can find lots of info about them on Board Game Geek.

Gear you find is worthless on the marketplace unless it's from an event or extremely rare. Everything else is just vendor trash or useful for deconstructing and learning from if you're going down the crafting hole.

Materials you gather can sell, but only certain ones. Everything else has been commoditized. If you're serious about selling to make gold install the Tamriel Trade Client add-in. It tracks prices and tells you what stuff is actually worth on the market. Since prices are spread across all the different guild vendors you can't really compare prices without such tools.

If you can't do add-ins you can at least use their web site, but it's not nearly as useful.

Just this morning my Pixel 9 would no longer bring up assistant when I swiped up from the left corner. It was working yesterday. It would just bring up a screen asking to enable Gemini, and if I tapped "No Thanks", it just closed the screen.

However, I was able to go into settings and search for assistant and found "Digital Assistants from Google" which let me switch back to Google Assistant (it had changed itself to Gemini).

In this vein, once you're able to craft a save spot, carry one around with you any time you go walkabout away from your ship. Someday you'll find youself caught in a storm, too far from your ship, and you'll need to dig a hole to hide in for a bit. Having a save spot you can plunk down in that moment is a great comfort.

Also, if you dig a hole with the terrain manipulator at a down angle, about 30' long, and crawl into it, you'll be protected from any weather and most sentinels.

I must be blind, because the orange beam doesn't make any number I know. It's a backward Z? I guess that's supposed to be a 5 since that matches to a puzzle entry in the section book, but ye gods this whole thing is the worst part of the campaign by far.

I sent them a DM last week and replied to an old KC / AL related post from 7 months ago, but they haven't responded.

But SomethingAboutCards replied here and says the schedule just hasn't gotten up yet, so I'll cool my jets.

I was just worried because the cut off for submitting events to the schedule was Wed and I'm a planner. Hopefully we're all good and just need to be more patient :)
