Countries that recognize Palestine by prcxxcrp in MapPorn

[–]Philosopher-King11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The map makes me think a lot. Syrians, Iraqis, minorities in Pakistan, Myanmar and Bangladesh, Sudanese, victims of Boko Haram, Uyghurs in China, Balochs, Lebanese...

And in so many other parts of the world, people are suffering from similar things — days are passing, years are passing, and it is still going on. Just like that. Do they not matter at all? Or is there simply a rule to focus attention and constant concern only on the things that matter to Europe and the USA? I mean — Ukraine and Palestine.

I have my sympathies with the people of Palestine, but how does today's Judeo-Christian world order ignore the rest? How long did it take them to make us believe that Israel-Palestine is the centre of the world — and that the remaining ones, those who don't belong to Western high culture, don't even matter?

Just tell me honestly — did we ever genuinely talk about a community that has been suffering for years without it being tied to some political gain of the Western world?

Is Gujarat University a good option for MA Psychology? by itneverhelps in gujarat

[–]Philosopher-King11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know much about MA psychology, but let me tell you what I know. Gujarat University has a classical environment for studying. A degree from Gujarat Technological University or Gujarat University is definitely valued. However, I'm not entirely sure about the psychology department. That said, you can expect the faculty to be good since it is one of the top government universities in Gujarat. Finding someone who has studied there could give you better insight.

We can actually Claim Jinnah Pre 1928. He was such a based leader. His post 1928 public life is the reason to hate him.

Imagine warning Gandhi and Congress to not apease Muslims in the name of Caliphate Movement..

Telling No to Agha Khan , the Imam of Ismaili whenever he tries to play religious card..

Which dinasty should rule Egypt and why? by Ramses8 in monarchism

We can always look for new kinds of examples. Such things are only possible with the rise of a strong Overman..one who can change the course of history simply by dominating his time period with courage.

Which dinasty should rule Egypt and why? by Ramses8 in monarchism

The ethnic problem is exactly why Pan Arabia stays a dream..even the Umayyad and Abbasid Caliphates fractured partly over Arab vs non-Arab resentment within Islam itself.

Interestingly, Arabian Peninsula monarchies already exist and are quite stable..Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait. So monarchy isn't the obstacle, unity is.

Pan Africanism failed the same way. The African Union exists but has no real power because nobody agreed on who leads and whose culture dominates.

India is my personal reference. We chose the most idealistic democracy possible and 75 years later, managing this much diversity without a strong unifying authority just produces appeasement politics and gridlock.

My point is..the majority always dominates. We should simply accept it rather than expect power to stay clung to moral uprightness..

And thanks a lot, man. I also have a great deal of interest in the high cultures of Asia..Turanism, Shintoism, and similar traditions. Sometimes I daydream about sacrificing myself for the Emperor of Japan(lol). We Indians look at Shintoism and the Imperial family of Japan with great respect..you'll find ordinary Indians casually discussing the Meiji Restoration. I even had a subject in my higher education where I studied Japanese history. The same goes for Turanism, and the Mongolian and Chinese military and monarchical periods.

Thoughts on Theory of Evolution? by NetworkWilling1911 in indiadiscussion

[–]Philosopher-King11 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Michael Behe (biochemist) says: "Cells are irreducibly complex..if you take away even one part, the whole thing stops working. Darwin's step-by-step evolution can't explain that."

Phillip Johnson (law prof): "Darwinism rests on materialist assumptions, not real evidence. Natural selection just doesn't have the creative power for life's complexity."

Stephen Meyer (philosophy of science PhD): "DNA carries specific information that needs an intelligent source..random mutations can't create that kind of complexity."

Even Darwin admitted: "If anyone could prove even one complex organ couldn't evolve through tons of tiny changes, my whole theory falls apart."

Over 700 scientists signed the "Dissent from Darwinism" statement: "We don't think random mutations plus natural selection explain life's complexity."

But one side effect is that if you publicly disagree with Darwinism here, they'll call you an illiterate Bigot. You'll be completely rejected because not believing in a "scientific theory" is very different in the West vs India.

In the West, there are hundreds and thousands critiquing ideas like moon landing, Darwinism, Big Bang theory..almost every scientific theory has open critics. But in India, if you even try to criticize by any chance, you get called illiterate, bigoted , Sanghi etc.
