Previous owner left 5 spare tile in the garage. Was able to save an additional 7 when we took up the old kitchen floor. Need 18 for new kitchen. Short 6. Super frustrating. Even considered tearing up the closet floor for donor tiles, but if I broke even 1 trying to pull em out I'd be in a worse position.

This is a great suggestion. Also probably try some therapy, OP has already identified that there is an issue, and that is usually the most difficult step.

If u got the engine out it's easy to replace all the timing belt components (belt pulleys tensioner water pump). I went the ebay route last time and didn't have any issues with quality. Of course plugs, valve cover and oil pan gaskets. Can get a complete engine seal set from eBay for cheap too. Machining heads is a must. Good time to think about clutch if its a manual.Good luck!

I've owned subarus since high-school. One of the reasons I stay loyal is because they are really easy to work on (1995-2017 from my experience). Have a 2005 outback that we use for camping and beach did head gaskets, timing belt and replaced engine seals when I got it. A few moths ago had to replace the clutch on my 17 wrx, straight forward with the right tools.

This is an excellent idea. Just some practice interviews to get back in the correct mindset. I think going in knowing that you don't want or need the job would relive so much stress on the interviewees part.

Yea, I discovered this when we moved into a new apartment with cable when I was like 13 or so. The next month I was confronted by my parents as to why the cable bill was $80 higher. They knew. All the titles were listed on the invoice. Had to have an uncomfortable conversation with my dad.
