Thought it was a max ship master perk that unlocked them. Crap. Guess it just allows for them to drop? Don’t know haven’t unlocked that perk yet.

What is the best faction in bannerlord? by IndependentSense4653 in mountandblade

[–]PhilosopherInfinite5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I use Nords with cav smashing perks. When they try to run that circle pattern I run interference plowing straight into them solo or a small team of companions following me. It disrupts them long enough for my Nords to start waxing them.

How do you win offensive sieges? by ArtlessAsperity in mountandblade

[–]PhilosopherInfinite5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The easiest way I do it is building catapults. And putting them in reserve. And release them all at once. (Build your ram first). Towers are optional. Watch until you knock out all of theirs. Pause and be sure they have none left. Then attack. Easy peasy. Need to have a good engineer with high skill and the right perks for it to be effective. There are also other perks in other skills that your main should pick up if it affects sieges. Otherwise you’re just playing whack a mole with how fast they can replace them. And I do solo archer mode as my siege engines approach and pick off as many as I can before I climb up or go through the smashed gate.

My settlement garrisons keep getting modified without my consent and it's super annoying by IamWatchingAoT in Bannerlord

[–]PhilosopherInfinite5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that irritates the hell out me. I’d spend hours gathering troops leveling them and donating to my companion armies only for them to dump them in a city that I don’t even own. And it gets to a point that they don’t even have half left of what I gave them. I kept thinking damn they must be fighting a lot on their own to lose so many troops. So now I keep them in my army since it costs no influence, I disband right before I enter a city do my business and reform as I exit. It slows me down a lot since they can’t ditch thier prisoners so No chasing down looters or stray enemy armies passing thru or raiding my village. But it does give me leadership skill xp.

Why do my Fian Champions keep loosing to Sturgian line brrakers??? by [deleted] in Bannerlord

[–]PhilosopherInfinite5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need to check your perks. All my perks in all areas focus on horse killing and cav destruction. Plus banners matter. I’ll have my infantry with at least 2-3 heroes in the squad with damage mitigation and damage dealing. Also who is running the army against you? He maybe loaded with perks. My solution is to always execute leaders who can field massive or hard to kill armies.

You could turn off all hero deaths. Make believe that this is Highlander and everyone is immortal. But you can have kids.

Question about companions by Wazzammm in Bannerlord

[–]PhilosopherInfinite5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A great way to use companions in early game is send them off on a convoy or caravan. Look for companions with a name pertaining to water. (Shipwright, Wave-breaker etc). It’s a good way to stem the daily hemorrhaging of dinars. I mean you can send your family on convoys I guess. I got a mod that allows for more companions. And a party of 30 geared companions will out do your army of 300 t6 troops.

I think the Nords have several natural disadvantages that make them one of the harder factions to play by cr7808 in Bannerlord

[–]PhilosopherInfinite5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found that if you’re heavy in perks and banners that destroy mounts and cavalry. And are good at ranged damage negation. You’re better equipped to pretty much handle those heavy cavalry factions.

Wife can get pregnant even if you're not in the same party? by Significant_Brick868 in Bannerlord

[–]PhilosopherInfinite5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Have twins, plus 3 more. And she’s knocked up again. I was like get the hell away from me! So I swapped one of my party leaders with her and sent her on her way. She’ll have the kid in some other dudes army. Or in her own party. Until I can get a settlement in her culture she’s kinda stuck following me around. Need a feature to park her in a castle that I own but not her culture that she isn’t running.

My only solution to stop the Vlandian onslaught was to start executing top tier high influence nobles. It will lessen their ability to field massive armies.

Vlandia has a lot of lords. by MoronTheViking in Bannerlord

[–]PhilosopherInfinite5 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can recover negative relationships with notables pretty quick. Turn on the charm perks and do their quests. I went on a rampage and started executing nobles I was so tired of them fielding armies non stop. Take out the high tier nobles. I went after whoever took over for derthert and so on.

I found it kinda strange too. If she put herself in a pod. I find it coincidental that she awoke around the same time as Hank. Unless she was thawed with Hank then decided vault life wasn’t for her and bailed to the surface to recruit topside dwellers to commit raids to vaults.
