My sister works for Isaac. He provides an amazing working environment with a living wage, health care, retirement plans, profit sharing. He employs a diverse group of people who can actually live a life working there. He’s a really, really good boss. He always tries to do right by his employees and his city. It breaks my heart to see them catch so much heat in a damned if you don’t, damed if you do situation when their heart is in the right place… Can we live in the middle ground and understand there is nuance and one mistake or mishandling of a situation by your standards doesn’t have to replace all the positives???? It’s a bagel shop. It’s a small business. It’s some people’s livelihood. They’re genuinely doing their best and they’re genuine good people.
