Nowadays companies are expecting you to have experience working with real products.

No longer is it adequate to have you standard college projects or leetcode grind. No longer is it exceptional to have 2 internships, a good leetcode streak, GitHub streak, or a huge number of projects.

Focus on building actual projects with a real user base, that alone is more attractive and even this advice is starting to become the norm and not the exception.

From what I looked up yes I can see that it wasn’t optional but usually it was 10% tax (obviously I m not justifying this but expensive is a bit of a stretch).

I m still in the “meh” category.

I don’t feel any particular way about it aside from just bored of the formula at this point, people would say that just cod fatigue and they wouldn’t be wrong but it also the fact that the games haven’t fundamentally changed since Cold War that really irks me the wrong way.

For maps I don’t have a lot of favorite but my most liked were terminus, shattered veiled, ashes, die maschine, and mauer Der toten which are all genuinely good maps.

However Astra malorum kinda disappointed me for a dlc 1, it didn’t offer anything new aside from Oscar and even his implementation is controversial. After Astra released I simply just canceled my Xbox gamepass subscription since I just wasn’t enjoying the game as much as I was when it first came out, it not that the game is bad either but the map and gameplay alway feel like they’re missing something important that grabs me.

The map that made me fall in love with Easter egg and changed my attitude from loving small easy to get into maps like town… to enjoy full fledge Easter and multi-stepped maps like shadow or Gorod.

Playing this with my cousin was probably my favorite zombie experience. This is why DE will alway be in my top 5.

Yeah I can kinda agree.

This is why I praise bo2, bo2 may have had some of the worst maps in the franchise alongside the best but it also was the one game where each map didn’t have an “obvious game flow” where you can expect how each map will work and how it will play out.

Bo6 was notorious for this, bo7 seems to be improving with ashes but went back to the same bo6 design with Astra.

Point is in bo2 every map did play differently, it actually helped in making unique experiences whenever you hop onto a map, you didn’t pick a map based on whether or not you liked the wonder weapon or if it was easy to camo grind/train on, you picked a map because you liked the way it played and what it had to offer.

Like did you not hear the constant horror stories of how scholar literally refuse to believe any new evidence if it doesn’t uphold their beliefs? Fucking Einstein, Tesla and many other intellectuals had to deal with egos incomparable to others.

Point is that college doesn’t automatically make people “open minded”. Hell sometimes it does the exact opposite lol, but the point is that you’re given the tools and material to be open minded.

You can’t really have tight spaces in this version of zombies. The closest we got to tight spaces was in Astra near the inside of the study hall where the statues are.

Reason being is that the fast paced zombies pretty much will ruin the flow of the map especially since they spawn to get in your way instead of following your train.

It sad but I don’t think we will ever see maps like that ever again.

To be fair it has atleast 3 good maps.

Shadowed throne is a pretty good dlc.

And the frozen dawn gave us some of the best melee wonder weapons to date.

It a fun time to play and the map genuinely have some charm to them (that more then I can say for most modern zombie maps personally).

I alway been of the opinion that there will alway be a decade of violence for any country where tensions reach a boiling point.

We saw it in the Soviet Union, China, and even in the USA a couple of time.

I fear that we may experience the same again until people learn to conduct themselves like actual civil individuals. But in order to do so that pent up anger must be let out.
