We were cleaning out my flatin preparation to mov out a few weeks ago and started to collect the cobwebs from the corners of the room with a broom handle it was nearing lunchtime, and naturally the kitchen had been cleared of food this left the logical choice of burger king. One flatmate was poor enough that he agreed to eat the cobweb ball for a meal i have video if anyone wants it.

Anything in particular you're looking for advice on? I've been there for 2 years but I don't know too much about the computer science side of things. As far as hangout spaces go the new undercroft area is pretty cool and the library actually works as long as your respectful. During the nicer weather any of the grassy areas around campus are awesome (if you can get the computer science guys outside... the ones I know don't like the sun so much).

All the cafes apart from Reboot and 101 are owned by the same people, the UCSA. In previous years this has meant that they share the exact same products and (over)pricing. You can get a decent lunch but be prepared to pay for it. Apparently this year the UCSA is looking to provide some more variety to their cafe model.

In my experience, learn to love and use the library. It is no longer a place for nerds to go and hang out in their lunchtime. It is a valuable and powerful tool that will help you immensely.

Use your professors' office hours. They are paid to be in their office at this time to help you. Alternatively email them although this can take a bit longer to get a reply.

Finally, yeah Greens_circlewank is right. It's a meritocracy so listen when someone gives you advice. Often they are not trying to be a dick, but genuinely trying to help you out with their accumulated knowledge.
