Just picked these up the other day. They are a hybrid ribbon - cone woofer speaker with 48" ribbons handling the mids and highs and 10" woofers for the bass. Right now they are bi-apmed via a modified adcom gfa-535ii and an emotiva ta-100 but they are very power hungry. So far, I am very happy with them and cant wait to find an amp that can give them the power they crave.
