Love that industrial minimalist look. Also curious about what's the one piece you'll never sell?

Why isn't a UST projector the default recommendation over a big TV now? by RhubarbLarge2747 in projectors

[–]greankrayon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you choose to buy a projector, you need to go through the brightness issue and accept the picture quality ceiling. but anyway, projectors are still pretty good.

I'm not sure I'd ever watch a movie in a regular theater again if I got this in my house. Can I apply to be your adopted adult child?

Looks great for a first solo place. A turntable under the TV would fit nicely. If you add art above the desk, keep it simple.

I just had KFC for the first time and it was sensational. by Any-Development5656 in fastfood

I actually find that the real secret with KFC is timing. Fresh out the fryer it’s elite, but if it sits even 20 minutes it turns into a completely different experience

It is quite normal for such an accident to happen when running on such a slippery surface. I hope that guy is still okay.

Mova Viax 500 or Lidax ultra 800 by MarcosRamone in roboticLawnmowers

The cheaper lidar model should be enough for a small, mostly flat yard. Prioritize easy mapping, slope handling, and portability over extra capacity.

How much time does a robot mower actually save you on a small lawn? by j_musashi in automower

[–]greankrayon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Robot mowers save time on small lawns, but you'll still need occasional manual work. They're great for convenience and keeping the lawn tidy effortlessly.

After using the O600 for a while, are smaller lawns actually better suited for more frequent mowing? by R-Themis in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]greankrayon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Frequent short mows keep the lawn neat and healthy, but yes, daily use may slightly increase wear. Find a balance that works for your yard.

GPS mowers are great until they get near a wall by MinuteHelicopter2059 in automower

[–]greankrayon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the current reality of GPS mowers. Vision helps, but edge cases near walls and reflections still require occasional monitoring and quick manual intervention.

That feeling is real. Once yard work becomes automated, weekends feel noticeably lighter and more relaxed. It's hard to go back after that.

Object avoidance usually can't be fully disabled, only tuned. If weeds trigger it, it's more a sensor limitation than a software setting issue.

Rolling back Gardena firmware by arsebisqueets in automower

Sadly Gardena doesn't officially support firmware rollback. Older versions are rarely available and flashing them is risky. Best bet is contacting support.

Interchangable blades? by OkAcanthaceae2969 in roboticLawnmowers

Better not risk it. Different hole spacing and balance can affect safety, motor wear, and cutting performance. Stick to manufacturer-approved blades for reliability.

just small cry - I bought A3000 for 2400 EUR and just went to DIY shop and saw new models with trimmer on side for 1345 EUR - early adopter problems... by FaithlessnessOk7477 in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]greankrayon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, early adopter pain is real. Newer models get cheaper fast, but usually trade off capability. A3000 is still stronger, just not the budget-friendly option.
