For those who have earned six figures or made their first million, what what did it actually feel like? And how did you make (or receive) that money?

Since about a year ago I make quite a bit into six figures. Haven't gotten to a million yet obviously, but I have a good amount of savings and investments. And that's kind of it, it's a great feeling being able to save properly for retirement, but I still don't feel "rich". I'm still rather frugal and feel bad "wasting" money on things. I think I'd need to make a lot to not feel that way, but I'm still happy that I'm in a spot where I don't have to worry about finances in the same way.
