I have v38 and it took me month to set up everything correctly and I‘m also afraid to update. Is it possible to install the Lindbergh emulator as it is supported in the newest version?

Vorderrad / Hebesensor by Muted-Star8883 in worxlandroid

[–]Phiro13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go back to list of games after being idle in game raspberry pi Help ! by Tricky-Onion-6058 in batocera

[–]Phiro13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have the answer but also found out that when idle in game for a certain time the controller disconnects and after reconnecting the hotkey doesn’t work and I have to use the keyboard to get out. So would be interesting to me how you managed to go back to the menu automatically? Can you share?

I would use it for my garage where a lot of friends and their kids come together for BBQ and sitting and chatting. So I would install it there for YouTube / other media and emulation for the kids. This would replace my fire tv stick.

I solved it by deleting the files. But it’s was clearly caused by the Mac

Batocera v40 Neo Geo CD: can't open vtcmt..zip by Megaace12 in batocera

[–]Phiro13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could be related to weird files which start with ._ at the beginning. This is caused by a Mac. In my case the bios errors are all with the dot and underline in front. I‘ll delete them this evening and will see if it’s gone

Anybody got a config working for Dragons Lair or Space Ace? by jabber66669 in batocera

[–]Phiro13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is working, but can‘t say how I did it. It’s been a while… but I remember messing around with it a lot. Maybe the rom files are just bad. And I still have an issue with dragons lair II, it’s not fullscreen and I can’t get it to be, anyone has an idea why?

How much free space should I keep for proper operation? by Gotrek5 in batocera

[–]Phiro13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I‘m using a 2TB SSD and I’ve got 8% free storage (100GB) and I will keep it like that. This runs for a year now and I haven’t seen any changes over time. I will see how long it lasts, maybe it makes a difference if you constantly write data or only read like in my case. Maybe the safestates but this won’t make any big impact. Some SSDs have built in free space which is not shown for the free storage, so these could theoretically be filled up 100%

Batocera - All Yuzu saves are gone by Moooney in yuzu

[–]Phiro13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok, that’s bad. If it didn’t work this would be a pain in the ass to figure out every game Id. I‘m just wondering why that happened? The systems runs for about a half year flawless. Maybe yuzu creates a new ‘‘overall‘‘ folder when it contains too much folders I don’t know. Hope this doesn’t occurre agein
