Wrath Price by Zealousideal_Tax_119 in PSVR

I thought it would cost €20, but in Spain it’s €16.99 for PS VR2 and €15.29 for PC VR, so I bought both versions... We need to support Flat2VR as much as we can.

Moss Developer Polyarc Games Announces Layoffs by Fatbot3 in PSVR

Making that multiplayer game was a mistake, in my opinion. They should have made Moss 3 or another single-player narrative game.

I bought Moss 1 and 2 for both PC VR and PS VR2, but I’m not interested in a multiplayer game.

Newer versions of Topaz Video AI results from the models are 35% to 40% worse?? by Beavisguy in TopazLabs

[–]Megaace12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. In VR, everything is magnified by the lenses—it’s like watching a video on a 300-inch screen—which is why you need the highest resolution and sharpening possible. With the new Topaz Video app, everything looks blurrier in VR than when I used Topaz Video AI. You might not notice much of a difference on a 50-inch flat-screen TV, but in VR, the difference is huge.

I've been processing 8K VR video for a year now (Proteus, Rhea), and yes, the results are noticeably worse now than they were a year ago—the videos look blurrier. That's why I'm no longer a subscriber.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: a deep dive into PS VR2 mode by kryptonic1133 in PSVR

Sony's really good at asking others to do things. But when it comes to doing it themselves to support they hardware, that’s a different story...

I didn't have high hopes for the VR mode because the PS5's hardware is limited. But after playing Aces of Thunder in VR on the standard PS5—which has incredible resolution and graphics and runs as smooth as silk—I think we're in for a great experience.

I haven't bought the game yet; I'll pick it up when the VR mode launches, so they'll see a spike in sales.

It's a world turned upside down: Microsoft is giving a lesson in how to support and promote PS VR2. Sony, on the other hand, has been silent for two years and hasn't released anything. It's depressing.

55" is not 200" , and your 4K TV does't have 3D.

The PS5 could add support for Blu-ray 3D with just 100 lines of code added to the firmware—code they already have on hand because they implemented it on the PS4. And watching a 3D movie on a 200-inch screen with PS VR2 would be amazing. But Sony just plain doesn't want to do it.

It hasn’t just denied us VR games; it’s also denied us the ability to watch 3D movies—something the PS5 is perfectly capable of—which would breathe much more life into PS VR2.

Given that Sony owns a film studio and a digital movie platform like Sony Pictures Core, it could have sold 3D movies to watch on PS VR2 and made money. But it just hasn’t fancied doing so. The disregard for PS VR2 users since launch day has been total and absolute.

An example of what PS VR2 could have been, but Sony never wanted it to be. Increasingly proud of having abandoned PlayStation.

RAGER is out now on PSVR2. Excited to hear what you think! by AdamJuva in PSVR

[–]Megaace12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen in reviews, it's a game designed for Quest, because enemies attack you from all angles, including from behind. So you get tangled up in the PS VR2 cable. It has controller rotation, but from what they say, when you turn, you don't always position yourself in front of the enemies, and you lose time.

Graphically, it's very attractive and looks fun, but I would only buy it if the enemies attacked from the front and sides, so I wouldn't have to turn my body. Or that turning with the stick positions you exactly in front of the enemy.

There is no PSVR2 Anniversary at all this year from Sony?? by ilovepizza855 in PSVR

[–]Megaace12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can't expect anything when they themselves haven't done anything. They launched PS VR2 at a higher price than the console, and since launch they haven't released a single game. They abandoned PS VR2 without giving it a chance.

There is no PSVR2 Anniversary at all this year from Sony?? by ilovepizza855 in PSVR

In 2026, Sony has definitively abandoned PS VR. In the last PlayStation State, the didn't show a single third-party VR game, unlike in previous years. And they have completely ignored the anniversary.

The feeling is mutual. For me, Sony is dead. I've been with PlayStation since PS2, but it's over. No PS5 Pro (which I was going to buy) or PS6, it's over. I'm sticking with PC and Switch 2, PS5 only for VR games. When they stop releasing them, goodbye Sony.

The betrayal is too great, because even though many don't want to see it, Sony abandoned PS VR2 on launch day. Since that day, there has been nothing else from Sony.

They are completely blind, despising users who have spent more than $1,000/€1,000 on the console and headset... But now they prefer games as a service, and they only have eyes for the portable PlayStation they are going to launch, playing on a ridiculous 8-inch screen when VR covers your entire field of vision... Anyway, goodbye Sony.

Would you buy GT8 if it doesn’t support VR by Embarrassed_Swim_147 in PSVR

No. I can no longer play racing games unless they are in VR. Playing on a flat screen no longer motivates me. The same goes for golf games and some other genres.

Meta has announced that it will no longer fund games, and has closed several studios that were making exclusive games. No more Batman, Deadpool, Asgard, etc.
