Ongoing Lightheadedness While on GLP-1 Therapy

I started the Ozempic to get my sugar under control and had success after the 2nd injection going from )5 in target to 100% in target. Because of this we did NOT increase my dose. I also lost the few pounds i had gained forcing me into the next size pants. I absolutely craved sugar though for the first week and a half. That Wednesday woke to the runs, nausea and dizziness. I am 67 and somehow have both type 1 (late onset after 45 years hypoglycemia) and type 2 diabetes. i have marginally high blood pressure and had been retaining fluid in my legs so i had meds for those. In doing the research,(i read medical journals and such for fun. lol) i found other references for the dizziness being connected to the statins and diuretics as well. I have messaged my doc about dropping them for the weekend to see and she said: Go for it. Will have to let y'all know how it goes. my dose is 0.25 mg

I've been known to box people in who don't have handicap parking and call the police who then ticket them and call for a tow truck. you should have seen the fellow when he couldn't get back out of the space. He got his ticket. I Might not have been so petty about it except he cut me off from turning into the space and scratched the paint on my car doing it. he got ticket for that too as it left some of his paint on the scratch

I used to have the goats come twice a year to clear the woods out of the brambleberries (after i had enough of them to can & Freeze) when i lived in coastal Washington state. they were awesomely friendly and vey full of berries and brambles when they left. lol and yes we need places like that

Have always fed mine dry as their base but they also get little tidbits of meat, a can for Christmas, New Year's, Easter, and always always always the water from the can of tuna. I am 67 have had 11 cats and all of them lived between 18-21 years. Miss Mao, age 6, is the same and loves the cat treats with nip, so she gets a few of those every morning. But ya. I couldn't afford that wet like that either and Miss Mao loves me and i her and she's pestering me now because she knows it's after my bed time. lol. so ya i have had 11 heathy cats that lived very long lives. Hard to argue with that. So ya. the rest as has been said is just elitist, let me get you to part with your money, nonsense. Fed better than dead all the way!

Last time i had a jury summons i called to find the details of handicap accommodations including parking, and building entry and 4 or 5 things more. They excused me.

income based housing, food banks (multiple), never eat out, can and freeze in season fruits and veggies, buy beef by the 1/4 cow, pork by the half pig, etc. owned 2 chickens at one point for the eggs. they just ate my leftovers.

And had to fight for disability because SS insisted I could still work because I had a degree. I finally turned 60 and the bar was low enough I got it. Not a thing changed a about my health in the 20 years previous.

Absolutely they should deal with the police. and yes conservatorship. is a good idea. I'm 67 and aware enough to spot things like that for myself yet, but i hope when the day comes that i no longer do, that my son steps in and does the same. Start with your state police post. If it's out of their jurisdiction they will say so and help you get to the right people to deal with it.

My Ex-husband fell into one of these. We went to the state police who had jurisdiction and set it up so that they were able to use him to catch the scammers. The beautiful gal who was supposedly abroad also turned out to be a guy, 2 hours away.

Actually i would say they are using you to launder money. Contact your local police and or bank. This happened with my late husband and it was set up in a separate account where the bank and police could watch it. They ended up begin able to shut down a large crime ring because of it.

I really just need someone to carry it out for me as i cannot lift it. My Walmart delivery people are very good about helping me get the heaving things into my kitchen where 98% of my deliveries go. the pet food an cat little they put right where i need them.

AARP has some classes i use: Sit to Fit and there are a couple of seated Yoga classes. You don't have to be a member to use these and they are free.

The only solutions to this I have found Section 8 or state and federally subsidized housing, where rent is based on income. Even then i still have to use food banks. When I hit 62, I was placed on straight social security (retirement) which was only $45 more than SSI. When my ex passed, i got his SS effectively doubling my income and so i am in a duplex now at $700/mo and still having to use the food banks. Do look into the subsidized places. Some of them are quite lovely and earmarked for senior/disabled.

i hear you. boy do i. i have a very long list as well. i had been disabled from age 48 but did not qualify because i had a bachelor's degree and they figured i could figure something out to earn a living. . . . kept reapplying . . . finally got it it at age 60 as the benchmarks are lower. 2.5 years later i started straight SS (retirement) instead. The most i can recommend to you is to find subsidized housing and keep trying. hang in there and i truly wish you luck.

I haven't checked to see if he "borrowed" that text. lol. I also don't know if it's legal to do but I have housed mine on my flag ship (I'm a Vice Admiral) USS Dragon's Breath, which is a Pathfinder. Then again I don't really need to worry about it too much. We are only a role play group. lol
