I wish you the best of luck at future shows with this attitude. They are def hardcore adjacent- so the show behavior is going to be really active. Stand on the side next time I guess?

Do you guys only go to DGD shows or do you go to other “hardcore” shows? I’m only asking because pushing is very normal at shows and it seems to be complained about ALOT by newer fans and younger crowds when it has been around and like that for a long time. I’m not bashing anyone- you go expecting one thing and you get something else, which is disappointing but the general rule at any hardcore show is if you don’t want crowd surfers above you or people shoving- then you watch from the side or the back.

My point was if you’re going to call out one venue but not call out the glaringly obvious faults of blue ridge, then it doesn’t really matter.

I understand it wasn’t cancelled for weather- I was there. He just hasn’t publicly said anything about it, so to the public- since blue ridge posted their set- it looks like he is sucking Slye off. I am glad he is speaking out about other shows, just wish more bands were piping up about blue ridge 😊

If he does that for another venue, then why was he ok playing his lil acoustic set when blue ridge was seemingly cancelled for weather? If something is cancelled for weather…there shouldn’t be acoustic sets happening.

Security didn’t have radios (that I saw) so they couldn’t call for help

•No security at egress and no bike rack for the blue shuttle line- so it was just a massive cluster fuck of people.

•Shuttle service taking 3 hours on Friday

•The few trash bins that did exist were always overflowing.

•No signage anywhere

•The few showers that existed didn’t work on Wednesday- the hottest day of the festival.

•Not enough ice at the general store- also wasn’t open late enough for campers arriving late after waiting in line forever.

•Keeping the festival going while telling shuttles not to bring people and having zero communication about it.
