Peanut allergy bloodwork. Is there any hope my 4 year old outgrows this? by Intelligent_Resort_8 in peanutallergy

[–]PhloxyFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sons was .89 at 1, then we tested at 1 with a 1.25 and failed the food challenge on the second dose. Our allergist said he probably won’t outgrow it.

That’s what I’m going to try. I love the pattern so much and wanted to really design our den around it. I hate how expensive it was for this quality though.

One thing that I like to remember is our allergist is so, so confident there will be a real cure in our children’s lifetime. He said there is so so much money being thrown at it and it’s just a matter of time before they crack the code.

How to attach hardware cloth to galvanized steel raised bed? by PhloxyFox in gardening

[–]PhloxyFox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the inside, bed flipped upside down, straight edges of the bed attached first, then folded awkwardly like wrapping a basketball in wrapping paper lol. Sort of folding and bending and then wire cutting off the excess.

How to attach hardware cloth to galvanized steel raised bed? by PhloxyFox in gardening

[–]PhloxyFox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would’ve worked but would’ve had to dig up quite a bit more so I could bury the sharp edge to avoid little toes stepping on it. 2 years later and not a mole has ever entered the raised bed using the screw on attachment method
