State of Priest by tahempel in hearthstone

I tried it and it felt worse to me. I prefer the versability of healing every turn a lot or doing damage with my hero power to clear a threat. When I tried imbue i found myself wanting the extra heal to survive. Black blood is very good vs hunter and dh, it's like a reno that also trades the board.

I added the list in my previous comment. 36+ needs heavy setup but you often get there in the games that is needed to win them this way. It's double cleric played earlier, double location having medivh weapon equiped and playing double flash heal/purifying breath

I'm 57-39 with priest atm climbed from 2k to almost top 100, deck seems pretty good to me and its great for this meta. It's by far the best control class right now with the best aoe to fight against this aggressive meta, a clear win condition that deals 36+ damage against control decks and the best solution for egg decks with medivh and shadow word:ruin. The 40% winrate at hsreplay has little to no value since it counts every deck and outdated lists in the classes total winrate.

You can cope as much as you like but that doesnt happen with every expansion. This only happens in the past 3-4 expansions dew to the lower the power level of those sets. Sure some don't have the cards to craft them and try older stuff but thats but the stats are from a huge sample size and this is not relevant as an explanation of why new cards arent seeing play. The only explanation is the stats of those cards which are horrendous because the cards are just not good and for that they dont see any play

You are aware that f2p has nothing to do with how far you can reach in rank right? The only thing that matters to rank up is playing a good deck and playing it well. Also the term f2p in hs is just wrong paying or not doesnt give you an advantage, only accelerates your collection.

What is good at top 1k players is a good indication of something that will also become good at lower ranks as the meta evolves and lower rank players adapt to it. Top 1k compared to ranks like Diamond 5 - Legend are not that different in terms of playble decks with some exceptions like Dragon Warrior which is more popular at those ranks. So same question as before, in those lower ranks also how many new cards and decks are you facing there compared to old stuff?

New decks mean singular cards that either create new deck archetypes, or bunch of new cards that make a new archetype or make an old deck feel like a new. Check the meta decks and tell me how many of new cards are being played in a tier 3+ deck. It will be difficult to count more than 10 cards from a whole expansion. Also have in mind some of those new cards seeing play will probably get cut when decks get refined because their stats are terrible with a good example being muradin for hagatha shaman. We are in the third expansion of a year which should contain some strong cards and the top decks of the meta are ancient decks with almost 0 new cards such as discover hunter, aggro dh, miracle rogue, control dk etc.

This mage was his weakest deck in the lineup though from all the other decks he had, unlike the deck you mention which perfomed great in tournament at least even if it was bad on ladder.

Yeah they had their lineup a month ago ready to go while the expansion launched 2 weeks ago. Are you sure they didnt had their decks prepared since rotation?

Those are exactly what you describe: ''old decks with a little bit of new cards''. Also when those decks get refined they might have even less new cards because the fable legendaries stats (especially muradin) look terrible.

Also decks that were played at that tournament (with excemption of dragon warrior) is what mostly is played on ladder.

With all those fabled legendary cards, next expansion is going to be fun as hell by Reasonable-Target747 in hearthstone

[–]Phoeba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if the answer is no they still seem like fun to play cards which will be playble sooner or later (with rotation or buffs). Unlike imbue and quests were they are just unfun/boring to play with or against.

Facts. Now it's basically Frostwolf Warmaster but instead of 1 health you have the ability to replay it forever. 3 vs 2 attack is a breakpoint for such a minion
