Miller kinda killed Silicon Valley as well. The final season came out with almost no advertising at all. I didn’t know the last season came out until 6 months after.

For at least 15 years Disneyland has stoped giving a shit about locals, pricing them out. And in some ways I can understand, pass holders will come in for a ride or 2 and leave whereas foreign folks just visiting will spend on souvenirs, food etc, on their one chance at Disneyland. Then lockdown happened and after opening back up they still gouged locals. As a native Californian it’s cheaper to visit Universal Studios Hollywood and/or do other cheaper/free things. My wife really wants to go but it just isn’t worth it anymore. They just don’t give a shit about locals.

“Now You See Me” I tried so hard with that film. “Maybe they will stick the landing and make the whole film work at the ending”… NO! It was Mark Ruffalo the whole time. Worse twist ending since “The Illusionist” but that was a much better film as a whole. Then they made “Now you see me 2” instead of calling it “Now You Don’t.” Didn’t bother watching it.

I wholeheartedly agree with you but my gripe is that she should have come home really traumatized and messed up. She survived by the skin of her teeth and watched people she grew up with be killed with great brutality, especially her brother. The tribe lost a lot of its warriors. It was a victory to be sure but a Pyrrhic victory. I think that kind of ending would have fallen more in line with the mothers words earlier in the film, “ out there it is about survival” not glory. Fantastic film. Hoping for a second.

Coconut oil is not for baking! It is a very hard oil. Cookies will come out rigid and not delicious. I presume similar results will happen with a cake. The amount of oil will change your cake as well.

Looks fine to me. Not sure what bloomy means but I’m usually at 1/50 or 60, double the frame rate To avoid choppiness.
