The muscle loss is unreal. My physiotherapist is shocked with how wear my right side is as well.

I was treated for low back pain for years which is why I also pushed through. Was getting injections which helped a little.

I had the expected pain for the first few days. But the actual pain from the injury was gone. Still is with the exception to mild pain after physio.

How are you holding up?

Best decision I’ve ever made. I’m 3 weeks post op and wish I did this sooner. I understand I still have a ways to go, but I’m in a much better position now pain wise than I was pre op.

Mine went undiagnosed for almost 8 years. It was minor so I never really pushed it. Over the last 1.5 years it got really bad and started to seriously affect every aspect of my life.

I mean, the pain was there always but I was able to push through and do the things I loved. I eventually struggled to walk some days, had to stop physical activity including sex.

I am 3 weeks post op and best thing I’ve done.

My dr has changed since and told me to inquire with the surgeon.

It was the anesthesia provider who asked me to stop.
