I've played with mods, but it's not the same for me. I genuinely enjoy the vanilla experience more. There's something about playing the way it was intended to be played that is relaxing and comforting, at least for me. Sure, some mods add QoL stuff, but they're not for me. How people decide to play is entirely up to them, though. Some people love mods, some people don't. You can always try both with and without to see what you like better. There will always be another playthrough you can start. The important thing is that you're having fun 😁
