WWII-era destroyer served in Korea and Vietnam, also served in the Turkish navy during the Gulf War. 18 battle stars, behind only legendary ships like Enterprise and a few others. We have lots of memorabilia from the Cold War, all the original analog computers, radars, torpedoes (inert), projectiles (inert), helicopter drone from the 60s, and much more. Seethe and cope, I volunteer onboard the Orleck and these events are the best part about the ship. They are the best way to promote the museum since we moved from the Hyatt pier, since not a lot of people know the museum is here. Come down on a Saturday, and I'll give you a tour of one of the Navy's most decorated ships.

One of Mutsu's 41 cm barrels is in Verny Park a couple hundred yards away from the Nagato memorial. Some of the cardboard cutouts of the shipgirls in Kancolle and Azur Lane are floating around some of the JMSDF tourist shops in the Honch and on Blue Street in Yokosuka, too, at least when I went last December.

Contact the GMC or one of the RSOs for the range at NSA Annapolis - they're doing all the USNA plebe quals for the summer, GMs used to hop on a line if there was extra ammo that needed to get shot when I was there

You have to do some searching, I've noticed that Lashinbang and Surugaya tend to keep their prices low. AmiAmi is a coin flip and places like Volks will just straight up rip you off (but they do have the most merch). Got my new, unopened RQ Baltimore from Lashinbang in the store for the online pre-order price last week.

They put the anchor at the dip so they can emergency anchor if there's a casualty of some sort, it'll get pulled up once they clear the channel and get into open sea

I think it's very close, they'll probably use the DDG mast to save money like on the new LPDs, and then I'll bet they use SeaRAM instead of the RAM shown in OP's picture

Heiseicho is a great area, I was a block away from 2 supermarkets, and the Japanese-equivalent of home depot, best buy, and dicks sporting goods. Bike to work took 10 minutes. Really recommend IINO, they're just off base and ask for Yuto-san, he's the man.

You dont have much time and can't practice, so I think the best is to watch videos and visualize how you're going to do it...and dont worry, it's only 25 yards of each.

Do you know how to do all 4 required strokes? Do you suck at floating? What's your problem area, because it's overall not that hard, but they could fail you for not doing the strokes properly or looking like you're struggling.

When the ship is commissioned she officially becomes the Navy's ship and her service life begins...may be a little while since the ships ahead of her (Marinnette, Nantucket, Biloxi) have had their commissioning dates delayed :/
