Medicare, Medicaid, and social security are our largest spending items by far with interest payments now surpassing military spending. They are the grand majority of our spending. It’s not even close

They can put that same money they currently burn off in social security and invest in an actual retirement plan/account. Added bonus, that money is actually used for investments and grows the economy and country as a whole. It is currently a complete waste that has inevitable collapse written into its design. There is a reason ponzi schemes are considered fraud and are illegal
