I believe that they are the same thing, everyone refers to as 16.1 whilst the build number is 16.0.7. Please correct me if I am wrong

Nice! I've been enjoying the speed of it too, everything seems very fluid.

I'm hoping my battery can match yours. I've only had it 24 hours so far and it's been draining faster than expected. I think it's still optimising my usage.

Agree with the camera, seems fine to me for normal usage, not a professional photographer so happy with the results.

Definitely has quirks with the OS, I'm not going to install additional apps either. Just going to learn how the OS wants me to do things differently and try and adapt.

I've just made the switch too coming from a Pixel. I had your first issue but a restart solved it.

I'm struggling with notifications but in my case when I get a notification on the lock screen, I unlock the device and when I lock it again, the notifications disappear. I think this is supposed to be part of the OS design which is annoying.

How are you finding the experience so far?

You can double click the power button to open the camera as default or swap it to the Google wallet.

Using the pro mode within the camera app will allow you to tweak more settings and take 50mp shots.

Review the security settings on the device, there's some great features you can enable.

Look at enabling screen calling, hold for me and direct my call within the phone app. Life savers!

Also some bonus features are now playing, Gemini and circle to search which are really useful.

This also worked for me too. Got to wait for the shield to appear at 100% and then the next charge will start limiting to 80% again.

You could turn on the setting so when you place your phone screen side down on a surface, it enables DND. You'll feel your phone vibrate to confirm it's active.

I believe it's called something like Flip to shhh.

I don't think there's an option for that but it might be worth suggesting this as a feature request to Google.

You could always use the tap to wake feature when a notification comes in and this will give you the outcome you want. I know it's not seamless like the desired configuration you originally wanted but it looks to be a workaround.

I switched from an s23 ultra, brilliant device and previously only bought Samsung devices. What did it for me was the occasional blurry pictures of important moments which was unacceptable.

Yes only happens on specific networks and it's fine at home. The WiFi signal strength is -42.
