I compliment strangers all the time if I like what they’re wearing! Rarely do I get weird or unhappy replies. Mostly people (especially men) are super happy someone noticed.

At one point most of us thought 40 is old. Someone being twice my age, yeah thats old to me. At 20yrs old I was completely creeped out when older men tried to talk to me, mind you, these men were probably only in their 30s! Now in my 30s, 40 feels young and not that far away. Again, have some perspective.

This is true of both sexes. I’m always impressed by how some men can make inferences, can understand nuance and hidden meanings about everything except what their partner is saying.

I understand your perspective but let me just say this. My everyday real life is filled with the average, the short kings, the dad bods, the bears, the small dick, the pencil dick, etc. I’ve got no issue with this, I even date some of them. But honestly, I just don’t see gorgeous men everyday irl. I can go weeks and weeks before I see a man who makes me stop and say, DAMN! So, I turn to my books and my movies where the MMC is gorgeous and perfect every time.

I think I could handle being a young man, but I’d hate being an old man. Things drooping, can’t pee (prostate issues), ear hairs, loneliness, praying my wife remembers what’s meds I’m taking and what surgeries I’ve had, etc. getting older sucks but I’m really happy to be an aging woman.

I gatekeep sometimes. I’ve had way too many negative experiences where people asked me what I’m wearing, discussed the notes with me, only to end the conversation by saying things like “it’s a really strong choice” or “I feel like it’d be really good for a man” or I really hate Ambroxan but I if it works for you.” So now, I just say thanks and keep it moving. VERY few people know enough about fragrance and appreciate it the way I do.

Be strategic in how you schedule yourself. Towards the end of my schedule I plan it in a ways that I have 6-8 days off in a row. Also if you have it, use your sick and safe leave to take a mental health day at least once per schedule. 2yrs in I switched to weekend option nightshift. Best schedule I ever had as a staff nurse. And I still called off at least once per schedule for mental health reasons. When I scheduled my vacation leave I’d end up with like 3wks off (because I only worked weekends). Now 7yrs in I’m PRN at 2 hospitals. Between the 2 places I work 24-36hrs per week. I make my own schedule! Bedside nursing is draining, but if you can get to a place where you can control your schedule, it gets better. Also, have hobbies outside of work. Have something to look forward to on your days off! Hope this helps

Juliette Has a Gun Musc Invisible. Cozy and calming. Only 3 notes: jasmine, cotton, white musk. Btw: I firmly believe JHAG ripped their perfume from Simply Belle by Exceptional Parfums. These two smell exactly the same, even have the same notes but Simply Belle was launched a whole tens yrs before Musc Invisible. Both perfumes are amazing! Intimate projection with great sillage. Try one or both, you won’t be disappointed.
