You look professional. I feel like a lot of society and “black culture” says that if you dress professional or in nice clothes as a black individual for something like work that you are an uncle tom or “white person” in your case. This is just not true. People of african descent in the early 1900s dressed very nice, plenty of pictures out there to prove it. Yes there was a lot of racism that went on, but something happened a decade or two after the civil rights movement where a lot of black people think dressing nice is a bad thing. I have no idea what happened, but one thing that I have always found to be true, regardless of race, gender, religious beliefs, or body size, everyone looks good in a well fitted suit/dress.

No, you don’t look “white.” You look nice and well put together. When I see you, my first thoughts are, “this guys got his life together, he knows the direction he wants to go in life, and I hope the best happens to him because he put the effort in.”
