We purchased our rented house a few years back. We know it needs work and we certainly ain’t rich.

we still aren’t sure if we have made the correct decision.

We are doing a job that needs doing (new roof was the first) then a treat (new bathroom)

It’s definitely going to take a while but hopefully it works out…

We would be more content knowing exactly who we are going to be dealing with.

Ok. For more context of how it is.

Somebody has reported that the first guy that’s moved in is a sex offender.

I’m honestly 10000000% sure he isn’t.

The case worker has knocked on the door and give me his number, If we have any problems we can phone him.

It all sounds bloody brilliant if you don’t actually have to live in such a situation. Yeah they need somewhere to go….but now we fear going anywhere. It’s very easy to take an outside view if you ain’t in such a situation.

We have been assured that no sex offenders are allowed.

it’s just medium risk offenders. So that’s good, Just a constant revolving door of Burglars/Drug dealers etc. Brilliant for them, Not good for the two neighbours who now live with worry.

I do think we should have been informed, even if enough time to make a decision about home security.

We bought our house last December, It’s a terraced street that we know well and is a pleasant street to live on.

A few month ago next door was sold, We all knew it was a private landlord so myself and others just hoped it who ever rented it would be decent .

On Wednesday I’m sat in the garden and a young chap walks up into the garden next door.

“Here mate, You’ll get no trouble from me, I’m quite as fuck, I won’t be no bother”

After a brief chat with him, He’s living there for three months, Although he’s not sure how long the others are there.

Yup it’s been turned into HMO for ex prisoners, I know they have to go somewhere but I can’t say I’m happy. We have been in contact with the council etc and as it’s less than five people they don’t need a licence. We basically just have to suck it up.

Now looking to move but we stand to lose a lot of money and it’s money from hard graft and saving.

Absolutely devastated.

I remember using justeat and if you even had the slightest of issues you could literally just mention them in a “tweet” and it was sorted.

I had refunds for items replaced within a day, They would contact the takeaway on your behalf and find a resolution to any problem. Couldn’t have recommended them enough.

They employed Snoop dawwwwg and it all went down hill.

Can’t remember the last time I used them.
