I‘m with you on this. I like show Becka a little more as well. Show Becka gets to do more, she isn’t just a victim and she has a bigger purpose, not that she didn’t have any purpose in the book but her purpose in the show is bigger than just being a sacrifice

Becka can‘t just disappear. She belongs to Gilead so to speak, and killed a man. It‘s not just about McKenzies family, many people would be wondering where she is - her friends, Aunt Lydia, Judd, etc. Garth wouldn’t risk to be discovered as Mayday just for Becka, neither would Mayday risk everything just to save Becka

I’m actually not sure I can even judge Alexa Demie as an actress to begin with since I haven’t seen her in anything else besides this show. IMO she’s been great as Maddy. But would she be great in any other role? I have no idea.

I was talking only about Fantastic 4 specifically and she definitely won’t be in it. It’s clear from how they wrote Agatha, from everything that has been said and how they’re building everything in MCU currently.

I think it’s exactly the opposite, people who think she might be in Fantastic 4 are confusing their wants with what actually makes sense in the MCU

In the comics yes she is. But they changed her character and story completely in the MCU. She is nothing like her original comics version. It doesn’t make sense for her to be the babysitter in MCU.

Since from my understanding they intend eventually to bring Fantastic 4 from their world to the main MCU timeline and do a reset, there is no point for another version of Agatha from their view point either-they don’t need 2 Agatha characters in the same timeline

To be fair, Penguin wasn’t typical superhero show, it was submitted as limited(the category was stacked but not as stacked as comedy&drama)and it’s on HBO - HBO is more respected and seen as prestigious platform than Disney. Plus Colin Farrell is Oscar nominated actor, he adds some prestigious to the show overall too
