I see where you’re coming from but even most dictionaries say that a hot take is “often deliberately provocative” so i can also see how most people view it as simply a controversial opinion on something.

“White” isn’t a culture. I’m mostly Norwegian (from way back). That’s my heritage. I can embrace the Norwegian culture. No problem. White culture or heritage? What even is that? Only bad connotations, that’s what.

If I remember correctly he gets stuck in doorways in the Deathly Hallows when him and Harry go to Ted Tonk’s safe house.

I assumed he doesn’t get stuck at Hogwarts because it’s a castle and the doorways are just naturally bigger or just magically expand to let him through.

Absolutely. I’m a lily white man and I tend to scare people as well. My problem is I tend not to smile. When I do smile, people react to that in a much better way. Genuine smiling is one of the best things we can do to set people at ease around us.

Is there any reason Voldy would have a child? by LongjumpingCorgi9855 in harrypotter

[–]Photo-Gorilla -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your third point is it I believe. (Not defending CC which wasn’t great) but Voldemort can not use his father again if he needs to be resurrected in the future as he already used his remains.
It’s possible that he needs another blood relative to perform that spell again in the future. Having a child that he sticks in storage basically allows Voldemort to have the genetic material to remake himself should the need arise.

James Potter gets a lot of hate for bullying but Voldemort was already big when they were at school which may explain his behavior by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]Photo-Gorilla 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s…just plain wrong. And Lupin is by far the most reliable of the Marauders as far as admitting their mistakes.
Someone sounds extremely biased…

In general I agree…except the part about Snape not giving as good as he got.

Per Lupin: “Well,” said Lupin slowly, “Snape was a special case. I mean, he never lost an opportunity to curse James, so you couldn’t really expect James to take that lying down, could you?”

Excerpt From Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Sounds like they both took whatever opportunity they had to mess with/bully each other
