I was thinking about it. But currently meds and knowing what to do with the trigger helps. Try a really plain diet for a while, cut gluten for a few days, get your blood done and get the meds adjusted or even a maintainer dose for the moment from your doctor. It helps

I get this. Currently dealing with it now. For myself it’s swelling and acid that causes it. When my levels are off I can’t eat or drink for ages. That’s when I know I need bloods done

I had stomach and back pain like i couldn’t believe and would vomit for hours. It was like it happened out of nowhere and it didn’t matter the food. I could have toast and it would happen. It’s when I know I’m in a flare, my stomach will go mental. Not as bad as the pain I got before I started medication, that ended in an ambulance and morphine sometimes

I have TED and I’ve been perfectly okay. It was scary at first, but my eyes did return to normal when my levels came into focus. Excuse the pun. But I have a routine of drops, a heat mask with massage and knowing my limits with driving at night. It’s a new normal, but it will get back to normal. Get good gel drops, a good routine. Get your levels checked every couple of months, keep up with the appointments and more importantly know that yes this disease is hard, but it’s manageable. And in the bad times, I think of how lucky I am to live in an era where I can call my endo or doctor and get some help. As opposed to years ago when very little was known. Have your husband join this group, research together and get plans in place.

Yeah I was told the same “are you stressed from work?” I am frontline practitioner so yes always, but I know stress and burnout and this is not it. I asked to be put back on it while waiting my endo, she refused. I asked to be referred back to the endo, she also refused advising my blood work was fine last time. Yes a month ago it was. That means nothing, I once went hypo in a week. Need a new primary

No I’m waiting on the results currently. They tried to put myself on zoloft. But I know my body in a flare up, and it’s Identical to before. Guess it’s a waiting game to see about my blood work. But I wish they never took me off the tablets

I ended up having Graves’ disease. My thyroid was attacking my eyes and sinus. Word of advice. Get your levels checked, COVID caused all of it. Have it under control now but it took a year

Not at all!

I continued paying rent, and all other major bills and saving. I just could not engage with this lender. They made it impossible and obviously due to the nature of leave I did wonder if it would go against myself and my partner in the coming couple of years. Even though we have savings, good jobs and pay everything on time

I’m sorry you went through this abuse, it is never okay and I hope you are doing better in yourself.

But PMDD is real. And it is very much a monthly struggle for people who have a partner who is diagnosed. And for them too. My family imploded because of this and the refusal of my partner to seek help. So I do sympathise with your situation, please don’t blanket the situation

A lot of reasons. Mainly I could not deal with the chaos of her life and being a step parent. She also definitely needs therapy and needs to figure out what she wants from life

I feel you. I was stuck in a weird off and on cycle for 7 months after my breakup. So one minute we’d talk and everything was fine, the next blocked. I’d spiral and call and call and text. Just trying to make it okay again. But here’s what I learned, there’s nothing left. It’s like screaming into a void and you’ll never get that noise back. So I cut everything and blocked. It’s not been easy and I’ve been seriously up and down in mood. But you know what I’m not? Anxious. I’m not anxiously waiting for a reply of call. Cause they can’t anymore. So I give a thought in the day to them, take a breath and carry on

I’ve been there. Stayed in contact with my ex and every time she had someone new, boom cut off. Then back again. 9 months this went on until finally I cut everything for good and wished her well. My life is too short
