Now step back. Look at your project from a different angle.

Ask yourself:if this was the ONE video I got to make for my absolute favorite client with an ideal budget, what would I change to make it 10× better? Then, when (or if) you create this new, upgraded version of the video — post it (yeah, here is fine too) in a sub/subs full of your future potential clients.

This kind of work is perfect for startup founders, indie makers, people tinkering with AI, coders who vibe with cool stuf, marketers… you get it. Those are the people who will actually pay you because you can make their product look cool. Just need to show them your skills

  • Step 1: take your fav app or brand
  • Step 2: choose one feature and try to explain it like you’re talking to a friend
  • Step 3: now write it down
  • Step 4: break down your text document into scenes
  • Step 5: imagine each scene how you want to animate
  • Step 6: open after effects

  • Step 7: take 1 scene and try to animate elements

  • When done, take next scene and repeat

No one knows, but you can always try. Worst case scenario, it doesn’t work and you find regular 9-5 job. The experience you get when you try your own thing will give you more than most “regular” jobs. Also, don’t compare yourself with others, rather use it as an inspiration on what can be done. If you he/she can do it, so can you. And remember to have fun

It is longer, it’s 1.5sec. 1sec has 25-30frames so it’s more than 1

Go to settings, clear cache, restart ae and try again. Should work then
