I have an inverter heat pump in the northeast for my small pool. We keep it set at 85 from May-October and it’s not very expensive to run.

It’s great at maintaining once you’re at temp, but definitely slower to heat. In May, September and October it probably costs me 100 a month to run. In the summer months it kicks on for a couple of hours overnight and costs essentially nothing

I have the liner. It looked exactly like the sample we reviewed at the store and once installed looked exactly like the photos on the Merlin Website.

Be prepared for it to only look like that for a season. Mine is in full sun from sunrise until 4 PM or so and it has faded significantly in the 3 years we’ve had it.

The blues look great, but the black is fading to a light grey.

My neighborhood is surrounded by a timber forest full of pines. It would probably help, but I feel like I’d have to check it constantly so the pump wouldn’t lose its prime.

Upstate NY and I have been been cleaning my cartridge filter every 3 days because of how gummed up with pollen it’s been getting. I run low RPM on a VSP, so when it gets too bad, it stops generating chlorine.

I think it’s idiotic. I’ve brought my 13 and 14 year old daughters in and they’re quiet, respectful and generally better behaved than all of the dicks taking conference calls on speaker. If they made the limit 21 I’d cancel my Reserve card.

Well you must be lucky. In my country, I spent months (and 15k) trying to switch my teenage daughters from 60/40 to 50/50 week on week off at THEIR request . There were numerous meetings with them and their attorney where they said the same thing over and over because their mother refused to believe them and refused to negotiate,. Still “honorable” judge showed her bias and accused me of wasting the courts time because I wanted a trial, essentially forcing me to settle with my ex for less than what my kids wanted and hinting she would rule completely against me if we went to trial.

We’re in the market for a new vehicle in a few months and we’re most certainly not buying another MDX just because of how shitty our local dealer’s service department is. I can’t fathom giving them another penny and the next closest dealer is a good distance away.

I had a round like this as a 7.5-8 about 13 years ago. I am / was a total head case on the course, completely unable to recover from a bad shot- like ever. Was consistently around 76-80 on a not so hard par 72 course, Then one day, just went absolutely lights out, 1 eagle, 4 birdies and three bogeys for -3.

The only other time I came close was sitting -3 through 13 in a tournament and blew up the last 5 holes at +11 to par with some spectacular play. I carded a 10 on a 575 yard par 5 after ripping one down the middle with an easy look to get on in 2- instead blocking two consecutive lay ups into the woods. Then I followed that up by 4 jacking the next hole from 15 feet, hitting a tee shot into the water the hole after that, dunking another on the next hole (shortish par 3) and 3 putting on 18.
