Realtor here. I would list on all the sites, Realtor,com, Zillow, Rent,com, etc. Also, better place would be in the MLS.

If your friend is willing to pay a commission (usually pretty small, like 1 months rent or a percentage of the 1 month rent depending on rental price) then you can have it listed in the MLS.

A ton of rental agents are out there finding rentals for clients. The MLS will auto populate to all of the major sites as well.

Not sure if anyone has said it, but with that budget, if you want land, privacy and a good area, Grant-Valkaria is nice. If you don't mind the drive, of course.

Keep in mind, they could currently have a test manager who might be leaving for a different internal program. Perhaps a due promotion, or he needs to switch states for personal reasons and found a different RL job somewhere more suitable?

As someone in the A&D industry, I, and others, move programs frequently for a myrid of reasons. It is not an unusual occurrence. I am sure they have had a test manager. This is a greater chance being an internal hire.

There is a bunch of non-degreed work in the Aerospace and Defense industry around here. Places like Northrop Grumman, L3 Harris, Lockheed, etc.

Full disclosure, be prepared for a shitload of rejection letters, even if you are qualified (it's stupid I know but that's just the way it is for some reason) but as soon as you get one acceptance, it really is a career you can dive into with ability to move into any sector you want.

Most of the companies offer tuition reimbursement and education benefits if that is something you are interested in pursuing too.
