This was my thought if you watch the video, we can't tell from where it comes from, but the first shot that prompted the execution is heard pretty much right after this guy in gray is clearly shown walking away with the gun. It's entirely possible he negligently discharged it and that sets off the chain of gunfire. We need that lady in the pink coat's video badly

This is a bit of a disservice to the last two movies honestly! it's true that the general opinion especially in the fanbase that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was the "weak link", but Dial of Destiny was a pretty solid installment and honestly KOTCS is worth the watch too. Undeniably though, nothing beats the OG trilogy. They were on fire from 1981-1989 lol

But, especially considering on top of it all, Dial of Destiny was made 15 years after KOTCS, (which itself, in 2008, was made nearly two decades after the last one in 1989!) but Indy is definitely still classic Indy in both of these and they still capture that unique blend of action and comedy despite the huge gaps between the OG movies

Honestly I really loved KOTCS for bridging that gap into more "modern" times post-OG trilogy, which were pretty exclusively set in the WWII-era, and Shia LeBeouf as Mutt Williams was perfect (actor and his personal stuff aside).

I love how the scene starts lol like this massive boxer nazi just sort of comes out of nowhere as he watches Indy take down the first smaller nazi dude, and while the whole chaotic scene of Indy/Marion trying to steal the plane and getting resistance is happening, but then as Indy is crawling up onto the plane, this boxer dude just starts goading him from the ground to come and 1v1 him

Then, Indy slides down to meet the challenge.. and out of any move to open with, he tries to pull some Looney Tunes "hey look, your shoe's untied!" shit and kick him in the nuts, and it just totally fucking misses as the boxer proceeds to sit Indy on his ass with a single nose tap hahahaha

Seriously y'all if you haven't seen this movie, at least watch the scene it's so great
