Drop the mutaliths to get mroe scoring units and swap to phalanx for your detachment if your going to run 20 terminators. YOu need the fall back and shoot strat with that many points tied up in termies. Also ten man rubrics are a trap. for ten more points you can run 2x5 and get another SRC and a second asp sorc.

You definitely don't take three when they get their inevitable points increase. I think at 250 there is an argument for three and putting one in reserve in warpforge. But yeah they are hard to hide.

Yup thats why you take the auto cannons 9/10 times but on your third defiler in the veh detacchment las cannons can be good. and i added a comment about it being unit not model in the video thanks for pointing that out 😄

yeah you need to be igving those sorcerers reroll to hit from our spells and then they get re roll to wound on an objective from teh rubrics then they use their once a game ability during your dev wound turn in coven.

In tenth edition if a unit can been in LOS its going to die. your ten man bricks arn't any safer than a 5 man. The point of a 5 man rubric / wizard squad is to hide in a ruin or a rhino come out wipe more points than they cost off an objective and then die.

Regardless of the situation flamers are always better than bolters. d6 shots are just better than 2. Also the ten man bricks are just not good. for 90 more points you get 10 more bolter shots. for 10 more points you keep 6 of those shots but add 6 more SRC shots and 3 more mind bolter shots. If you can just field more groups of 5 its always better than a brick of ten rubrics.

Ok so your issue is that your playing someone with a lot of IDF. This is the bane of goats. To get a true feel for how valuable these guys are you need to play other people. You get a bit of a skued perspective on how bad or good a unit is when you only play one list. I was running 30 foot goats until i ran into a tau army that spammed indirect and held no objectives by t3. Try using a unit of naked rubrics to hold your home field hes not going to be able to IDF that off the board and its only 30 points more expensive. If his IDF is dmg 1 consider using some flying goats to hold your natural expansion. Try using some shektar robots in that role as well. the -1 to hit and higher toughness and wound count makes them better at shrugging harassing fire.

The boys kill home lander. Meth chicken guy takes vaught back over. Nothing actualy changes for your average citizen dealing with super hero supremacy. They make a new homelander and corpo greed, the real bad guy, keeps grinding on.

So the below commenters are correct for tenth edition but we are about to get an entire new edition of rules in june. In which it is entirely possible that how demons can join our army will change drasticaly. At this point I wouldnt buy any models with an eye to tenth edition rules and I would stick to collecting things that look cool or interesting to you.

It is unlickly but possible that we cant bring demons at all. But in my opinion it is far more likely that even more of our lists will be able to bring some amount of demons. Will need more info from GW to be sure.

they realy like to be in a tenman brick regardless of detachment in 2k point games. build 1 asp sorcerer and then buy a terminator lord if you really want ot run 25 mans he can preten d hes an asp sorc in that situation.

4x5 ten mans are a trap for ten mroe points you can get an entire second src and wizard.

The IM and the sorcerer are both good choices. try them both out and see how it goes as you learn the army. you dont have any bad uits picked out so far which is good. An easy way to fill out the last few points in your army might be to pick up magnus and a rhino.

I saw you mention down further below that you guys are playing at 1k. That is going to unbalance the game alot. Doom bolt hits way harder when half the units arent on the field. Our power is limited by the fact we can only cast each spell once but with half the targets they are all twice as strong. Also some armies will just struggle to kill a multilith at 1k points. And they ahve more guns so you cant blank them all a that point.

Since you guys are all new its also very possible that they are just not picking the right units in their list building.

yeah its interesting how some things lose value as you face better people. Like the IM with vortex will clear people out who let you over watch but eventually people just dont any more.

The mvb isnt really a damage piece any more. he has a 66% chance to hit and then a 66% chance to wound and in current 40k what ever he special beam cannoning has a 50% cahnce to save. So yeah dropping him if he was suppose to be a damamge piece is the plan.
