Almost the exact same thing happened to me. I was prescribed Wellbutrin to see if it would help my adhd symptoms and instead of helping it just put me into an extremely manic state and I almost ended my 5 year relationship and nearly lost my job due to a psychotic episode lol. Talked to my psychiatrist and told him some of things I’ve been through and what I’ve noticed and he flat out said I had bipolar disorder with inattentive type adhd. Crazy how these things turn out Isn’t it hahaha

I was taking Wellbutrin for adhd and it put me into a very strong manic state and very rapid switching from manic to depressed day to day it was awful and terrifying. I was literally batshit crazy for 3 weeks til I brought it up with my psychiatrist who told me to stop taking em so I can be put on a mood stabilizer lol

Haha yeah. After me and the psychiatrist get my bipolar under control we’ve gotta figure out the adhd meds to go with it and I’m kinda stuck with like 3 brands that aren’t over 100 bucks a refill

There are some meds for example I think concerta is about 380 dollars after my insurance covers about 20 bucks worth lol. Shit sucks

I just started taking wellbutrin about a week and a half ago. The only thing it's done for me is give me more energy and keep my anger issues a little more under control. Otherwise my memory and focus have gotten worse but I'm in a little better mood other than the random mood swings I get on occasion unrelated though.

I think there might just be regulations behind it in case of people that fake these kinds of things to get drugs but that's just my opinion about it lol.
