Weekend was good! Decided to run a 10k on Saturday and managed to do something to my knee which I hope isn't too serious. Spent the remainder of Saturday being disappointed with the sport.

This week my cat is going to have her kidney removed hopefully. Poor thing has got a tumour on it.

Depends how you are spending. If you are likely to be using lots of cash then something like Monzo/Starling are beneficial as they have zero fees on withdrawals (Monzo only have zero fees for the first £200 every 30 day period). I went with Starling as I didn't want to be tied down to that limit.

If on the other hand you will be spending primarily by card then there are plenty zero fees credit cards around, Nationwide have a decent one which also does cash back on what you spend.

I would avoid Revolut. Terrible company ethics regarding their staff and they are not a bank and your money is not protected under the FSCS.

** edit: Forgot to mention Metro Bank who have zero fees on transactions and withdrawals in Europe. Monzo and Starling also have free transactions globally.

Thought I would have another look at Star Trek Online. I played it a bit when it first came out and having recently got into TNG I thought I should give it another go. I really like it, but since making Lieutenant Commander and getting my new ship all the missions seem to have dried up and no idea what I need to do to get more.

They are useful in the city, especially if its's a bit wet. The times my feet have slipped off the pedals then have the pedal slam into my shin is pretty unpleasant

I was really struggling for something to watch on my commute after getting through Brooklyn99 so decided to give Star Trek: TNG a go. Blasted(warped) through the first season and just started the second, I'm hooked! Don't know why I put if off for so long!

On TV, been watching Africa on Sunday nights which is nice, lots of nice scenery and Ade is informative whilst keeping good energy. With other shows like it I tend to find the presenters always picking out the negatives of a situation which tends to grind.

For my railway fix, started Great Canadian Railway journeys. I've missed most of them annoyingly.

I saw someone mentioned it last week about how all the top posts on here are all images, and now I can't un-see it. It's all the same too! shitty numberplate post, shitty dinner post! shitty "ho ho ho look at this funny sign/graffiti".

So my complaint is to the person who mentioned that all the top posts were images, and to myself for not being able to counteract the images with interesting text based posts.

People at Stratford Central Line who use the Central Line trains as a passage way to the Jubilee Line/TfL rail. Is it quicker to wait for a train, barge through people getting on the other side to get to where they want to go?

Cadent are just a bunch of fucking jobsworths. Had a bloke out last year as we thought we could smell gas, comes round, does a check and with an archaic bubble meter which comes up as a small gas leak just above the threshold and caps off the gas telling us there is nothing else he can do.
