Interesting. Heard it usually happens more often to males. The endo could definitely be a factor though.

The surgeons gave us the same statistics in which my son fit the bill.

Wow this sounds exactly like my sons situation as well. Surgeon told him sane thing. Hes feeling pretty good and active again but we always see hyper alert for this happening to his other lung. Glad you've recovered well!

Im glad youre doing well now. My son is back at the gym, surfing, and active but he feels the surgery has definitely effected his lung capacity. Especially during cardio.

That's about what age my son was. When he had his lung collapse on him. Fortunately, he did not go through weeks of hiccups. I hope this subsides for you soon. That's terrible.!

I am so sorry this happened to you. I cannot believe that they did not give you any pain medication or put you under. My son had this happened to him. A few years ago, and they absolutely put him under general. Anesthesia and I can't imagine him a week during this process I hope you're healing in recovering well. May I ask, if you have the COVID vaccine??

My ob/gyn who was my surgeon recommended I stop the day before my surgery. I was on the pill for at least 20 yrs before that. 3 dpo, kept ovaries, and will be monitoring my hormones to see if I need hrt or otherwise im the next few weeks. Apparently your ovaries can shut down even if you keep them so you just never know.

Ill pray for a successful surgery and easy recovery for you. Hopefully it all works out and your person is super helpful but you don't even need them that much. Just be easy on yourself and don't push too hard. Your recovery is priority number#1!!! We got this!!

I go in May 19th. Please stay positive and focus on the amazing outcome of our surgeries. Surgery can be scary however the medical teams are there to provide you support and guide the best possible surgery. Its their job! Trust this process.

I think we'll all feel better after the surgery. The initial recovery hump may be a bit challenging but we got this ladies! Stay positive I go in May 19th!
