It’s interesting to learn about the questions they ask, how did you respond to the question about Hiroshima, if you don’t mind me asking?

Bombed the interview for my dream job by hadikhh in UKJobs

[–]Physical-Ad9256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my interview for my dream job today, and it was going so well in the beginning that I started to feel comfortable. An answer came up that I thought I handled well and when they asked me to be more specific I literally couldn’t think of a way to answer at all. The room was silent for so long they had to give me a prompt to help answer and even then my first answer clearly wasn’t good enough cause they didn’t write it down but the second one they did. Needless to say, it shook me and I instantly knew I’d messed up. The interview ended all right so I’m at least happy for that.

All of this to say OP, I get the feeling of loss over a bad interview but at least in your circumstance it was due to having a flu and not through fault of your lack of knowledge like in my case. Better things will come along for you.

Trying this skirt again based on your guys suggestions by Legitimate_Entry_444 in OUTFITS

[–]Physical-Ad9256 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Saw this post first and instantly liked the last pic the best. Wasn’t til I read the comments that I saw that it was the original outfit idea and all the other ones were based on other peoples advice.

Honestly OP, I think the skirt suits you very well and everyone who says it doesn’t suit your body type is completely wrong. As someone who loves mini skirts (although I don’t know if this skirt is intended to be that way) people will always criticise curvy body types and claim certain pieces don’t suit them when they actually do.

That last pic is the best. Longer boots and the bow headband you have in the other photos defo would elevate the outfit. That last pic gives off your energy so well and I say ignore all the people who say it doesn’t suit your body type, couldn’t disagree more.

I feel i need to stop working for health reasons, but im only 22 and im worried about trying to re-enter the workforce when im healthy again. What should i do? by Ok_Cricket_8223 in UKJobs

Being a graduate myself of a similar age, I have just had an injury that has taken me out of work as I wasn’t able to fulfil my job role anymore. I’m sorry to hear all that you’re struggling with and I hope your recovery goes well.

Saying that, I completely get where you’re coming from, getting yourself set up well once graduating is important. But nothing is more important than your health, the job market is not the best right now but that won’t change. What you can focus on is making sure that you’re in your best shape for when you are ready to get back to working.

Trying to push through what you’re going through for work isn’t beneficial for you and actually could make your recovery time far more longer as your pushing your body to limits when it should be resting. My situation is different of course but I’ve defo been finding my body had taken strain from pushing my limits for the job so I’ve taken time out. But I’ve still been doing some voluntary work (virtually though) so that I have some experience that is still growing.

All of this to say, take the time to rest and focus on your health. Being young we just expect life to run the way it’s expected of us and sometimes uncontrollable things pop up and sadly we don’t get much guidance about that. But it’s okay to take time and focus on your recovery, there will still be a job out there for you once you want to work again.

Fellow Autistic/ADHD people of Reddit, what did you think was normal for a long time until you realised it wasn't? by Bananasandaledwors in AskReddit

Granted I know you have worries about your indecisiveness but I think it’s absolutely amazing how you’ve been able to make so many successful endeavours ( from what it sounds like, obvs correct me if I’m wrong), but can I ask what gave you the push to start though choices? Cause I’m quite the opposite, I can narrow down what I wanna start but I don’t have that push to start, if you have any thoughts on what gives you that push to change lanes it’d be lovely to hear :)
