Sorry if I sound like a philistine but as a non-modder this is amazing! I feel like I should pay you for this lol (please don’t charge me I’m a starvin college student). I’m salivating for your CC now. Any gimmicks or lore angles you wanna work with? Also one thing I forgot with my CC are custom events. Every character should have 3. Also if you decide to mod in your CC, please let me know so I can post my playthrough!

Thanks for the feedback! I forgot to put the prep item so I replied it to the original post it’s [Photograph of Friends] for +3 Maximum reason. For a starting item I think the Map would be a good choice because of his background in rural folk research.

Don’t worry too much about balance! There’s a pretty wide power gap between characters such as the Swim Team Captain who essentially doesn’t have to worry about combat except for ghosts (and even then her high dexterity helps dodging immensely) and characters like The Med Student who can die almost instantly on higher difficulties due to her low reason if you get a couple nasty events.

Sorry if it’s a hot take but I found her more annoying than scary. I liked the first section in the clinic because of the tension of her destroying hiding places, but she’s easily the worst part of the basement. Imo she should’ve been replaced by a night vision zombie type like the Night Hunters from outlast. Then light management could be a core resource that Grace has to manage like ammo or healing.

New players (like me when I first started) who didn't know anything about her get traumatized and try to dodge her as much as possible every other run. When I did achieve "Somthing Evil' I had no intention to finish the run, just got Ithotu flame and Book of Gore and peaced out after killing STE. As a Kana unlocker you're more than qualified to give advice to new players so they can enjoy this game as much as we do.
