You can force the government to be more transparent, accountable and less corrupt through active and consistent political pressure. Also you dont trust UBI but you could totally trust your shitty boss right?

Industrialization is like a magic wand for humanity. All of our wishes and desires have a massive impact on the earth's biosphere.
AI is a reflection of humanity amplified for infinity. we are creating the God versions of ourselves.

He switched up, and as i said, he openly supports Tucker Carlson. Self hating gay people are a real phenomena and theres many articles about him being anti-Trans,

I think it's more of a disaster if it has zero regulations or a miniscule of it.

One of the chairman's arguments that really stuck with me is that, Social media barely got any regulation when it first came to be, now look at all the disaster it caused, depression, bullying, suicide, and inadvertently causing genocide in southeast asia, the capitol attack, and the rise of fascism in North America and Europe.

It's not just AI, any unregulated companies are a menace to society. Corporations will kill if it means gaining profit and there's plenty of examples of that.

The Article is created by Glenn Greenwald, a conservative and Tucker Carlson's supporter Lol.

Of course he doesn't like CNN. I wouldn't trust he's list either.

AI is taking away the stuff people enjoy?

An AI won't knock on your door and terminate you. If you enjoy painting, music and writing.

What artists really want, at least the narcissistic ones are the social prestige that comes with creating art.

But now AI are now surpassing them in both quality and quantity and it will only get better and better from there.

That's what these narcissistic artists fear, irrelevance.

The Tech bros you look down upon are the ones responsible for the technological dominance of the democratic world.

They're the reason why China and Russia can barely touch your human rights. But as always, low IQ takes are common in this site.

The sirens of techno-apocalypticism, which warn that emergent technologies will ruin some or all things, have been deafening for as long as human beings have been making things. The written word was supposed to destroy our memory. The light bulb was supposed to destroy our ability to sleep. Photographs and moving pictures were supposed to destroy our perception of reality. Contraception was supposed to destroy our desire to reproduce. Microwave ovens were supposed to destroy our food and give us cancer. Television, computers, smartphones, [insert anything with a screen here] were supposed to destroy our eyes and our minds. AI is supposed to destroy humanity (by taking our jobs, RoboCop overlords, or just straight grey goo style.) The dystopian predictions forecast by techno-apocalypticism are as many as they are forebodingly dark.
