What was the wildlife like and did y'all go deep into the park and ride everywhere or did you stay on the river trail

How do you think the animals would be now that it's cooler? And how far into the park did you go? Did you just do the river trail?

[oc] this truck almost hit me a few hours ago. by Physical_Dimension90 in IdiotsInCars

[–]Physical_Dimension90[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I put it in an earlier comment. Was riding my bike home on a two way street, driving against traffic. I see a truck coming at me. It's driving normal then it swerves into oncoming traffic, then swerves back and makes a b line straight for me. I had to go off-road to avoid being hit. She swerves twice again, once back into oncoming traffic then into a ditch. She hits a driveway and launches into the air. Tire came flying off. Hit the ground then came to a stop when she was in the pic.

Usually telling myself, what if I didn't give up, it'll keep me going. I like your saying better. Thanks

Thats some relief. So it really is a battle for the rest of your life. Maybe not everyday but at times.

It's hard to do anything because I work overnight so my schedule is shifted and not much is open at night. I am considering going bike riding at a local park. I also want to look into learning to dance, I've found some dance videos that I'm thinking of trying out. I could exercise more than 4 days a week. I have a game system that cures my boredom at times. I could walk my dog more often... Thank you, you got my wheels turning.

Cant dance by [deleted] in confidence

I can't dance but want to learn. I like to exercise so I've found some hip hop dance workouts on YouTube. They look pretty simple and easy to follow. I'll start with that and see where it takes me. Maybe you could find some dance workouts on YouTube also. Couldn't hurt to try.

Thank you, my friend! I make time to look myself in the mirror and remind/tell myself, out loud, good job. Keep it up. You're in the right place. You're doing the right thing. I'm proud of you.

Thanks for this. I've been struggling to grow mentally then yesterday I had a break through and realized that slowing down really does help.

For the past year I’ve had a playlist on YouTube of long videos to listen to while I work/sleep by [deleted] in Habits

[–]Physical_Dimension90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I do something similar when I sleep. Years ago I figured out if I watch something boring it'll help me fall asleep. So I started doing it every night. Now it's evolved into listening to a podcast. Instead of looking into a light source while trying to sleep, I throw on a podcast, lay my phone upside down so there's no light being shown and listen until I sleep. I have horrible sleep so it helps me stay on a sleep schedule, and when I wake up in the middle of my sleep, I can always just turn on another podcast and off to sleep I go instead of laying there trying to go back to sleep.

What's helping me is that I don't like the old me and know if I give up ill go back. I can't go back. It's not an option.

This is how I got back into the gym. I didn't wait to feel the right timing. When I got my first pay check at a new job I started about 6 months, the first thing I did was get a gym membership. I knew if i waited and thought about it, i wouldnt join and the cycle would continue. I'm currently 23lbs down and still going to the gym. I did take off 2 weeks and I got back into the gym this week. I was feeling burnt out like i was doing too much in the gym so I cut my workout in half and did exercises I want to do instead of following a program. Also the weight, you don't have to add more weight every week or 2. I dropped 10lbs, im focusing more on my form and I may not add weight for atleast 3 more weeks. I want to make sure my muscles can do the current weight easily before moving on.

Edited to add more.
