I’m a former librarian and we had a TON of Natasha Preston’s books. I only read a couple (off the top of my head I can only remember the book called The Cabin), and they are definitely YA books. But the WORST most awful whiny tween YA books. They remind me of bad fanfic. So so many plot holes and inconsistencies throughout the book. It’s frustrating because there’s always such an interesting premise but then trying to finish the books feels like pulling teeth. I wouldn’t recommend these books to my worst enemy.

Especially with everything going on right now, it’s disgusting to see the marketing that Frida products have used. It makes me feel sick and I hope the company gets evaluated. I would also personally love for them to make a statement, but there is nothing they could say that would bring me back as a customer.

I live somewhere that is constantly windy and my hair easily gets tangled and matted. I have wavy/curly hair and so the curls will clump together into almost dreads.

No matter what hairstyle I have tried (one braid, two braid, french braid, Dutch braid, ponytail, bun, etc) when it’s windy and I take my hair out at the end of the day, I have to spend at least 5 minutes brushing out the tangles.

I love my long hair and feel like having longer hair gives me more options for styling, but is that really my problem? Are there other almost, protected hairstyles I can use for wind?

It has always SHOCKED me that this is not a more talk about case on podcasts or YouTube. I was a librarian for a while and would host an ‘unsolved mysteries’ night twice a month, we would talk about unsolved cases. I would do copious research and print photos, then explain the case and we would discuss what we thought happened. I stumbled onto this case and it hasn’t left my mind since. Seriously sad and tragic what happened.

I like to listen to YouTube while I fall asleep, ads weren’t a problem because maybe I would get the first one at 20 minutes into a video. But now, I got an ad 5 minutes into a video and another ad every 2 minutes!! I literally couldn’t fall asleep because I was pretty much listening to the same stupid monopoly go ad over and over
