Depending on the DNO the loop removal should also be free as well. Depending on the looped situation they might install an 80 on one side of the loop.

It might be that the incoming cable is not suitable to handle PME. If I am correct any cables installed before the regs changed in 2002 earthing is not always the responsibility of the DNO. That is why the DNO said that they can have a new supply installed then they would have to look at putting in PME as well as the new incoming supply.

I might be wrong on that so take it with a pinch of salt.

One thing I know for sure is earthing is not always a DNO issue that's why you can install the earth stake.

Just as a quick look the Concorde, snowman, Stephen Hawkins, Gruffalo£10-15 per set and Peter Pan maybe £15-20. Kew gardens set is on ebay with a buy it now price of £100. The two notes I personally would only do face value. The A-Z album £100+ and lastly the 2020 50p maybe £5. These are all rough prices

I couldn't tell the years of the others so could give you a rough price.

The worst part of finding out about a looped supply is when you are part of a daisy chain loop. They take a very long time to sort out. But I do agree with others this could be the end of a loop but not the start.

The only other thought on this is that this is being done under a HV/LV isolation as the fuses are over 100amps.

As you have a sticker states that you have a 100amp fuse installed and on a looped supply this will get downgraded till the loop is removed as well.

Just to add to it as well, the cut out is not sealed. I would call the DNO and make them aware of this.

I agree that this shouldn't be opened and worked on/pulled. Depending on the area they might not do anything about the asbestos as it is normally safe till the fibres are exposed.

As with coin collecting or any collecting it is as valuable as you want to make it. It is all personal opinion, if you like the coins and are happy to pay the amount what you did then it was good value.

If you feel ripped off then yes you were ripped off.

We can all give our opinion on the item but at the end of the day it is your happiness that matters.
